No towels in the room but staff sorted this when asked. Also no hair dryer. Having no one on reception on arrival was a bit frustrating. You gave to call the phone number left on the door. This was sorted very quickly.

Basic hotel in the quiet end of the town with a lovely view of the sea front. The balcony room made the experience.

First impressions were bad; the grass was long with large weeds along the edges. There were empty cans and bottles around the memorial benches and faded packs of magazines near the entrance door. The door was locked with a telephone number for next door's hotel on it. After looking around for a few minutes a guy came from next door and let us in. While slouching over the reception desk he scrolled through his phone to find us before going to check our room. Despite receiving a call from 'Ash' to say it would be ready at 14:00 it was not ready when we arrived almost an hour past this time. We were told we could leave our cases in the deserted concert room while they cleaned our room and come back about half an hour later. We asked if we could use the loo before going out and found a toilet with no tissue, an overflowing bin with 🤢 stained paper towels in it and on lifting the toilet seat stains all around the rim. The stairs carpet looked recently fitted but not vacuumed. On returning to collect the key I had to go next door for it. Our hotel seemed to have no staff. Both the concert room and dining room looked unused. Really sad when you look at old reviews and photos of what it used to be like 😞. There was no WiFi. Oh and no bell where the sign says 'ring here for service'. What service????

The location was excellent: directly opposite Paignton Green and only a few minutes walk to the town centre. The room looked recently decorated, clean and fresh.

Couldn’t get in on arrival took almost an hour, no staff around after being given the key to the room, no apology for the wait time and was still kept waiting while the man checked to see if the was ready, finally got in the room no Wi-Fi as stated, no hot water and no one around to ask for help, rubbish all over the front of the property empty beer cans etc. Very poor and should’ve asked for our money back.

There were a few things which weren’t great. There was a sign to ring the bell for assistance but there wasn’t a bell there. There was a sign that said there was Wi-Fi with a password but there was no Wi-Fi available. There also wasn’t any breakfast or coffee for the mornings. The staff there were really lovely although, when we got there, there was only one man managing our b&b and the one next to us as well so trying to find staff is quite hard. And there wasn’t any hot water or heating so we couldn’t shower there, so we had to shower elsewhere. But apart from those little things, it was a lovely place, comfortable beds and lovely people managing the place.

A run down mess, not in keeping,dog ends, unkept front garden , empty cans of beer and bottle's grated you at the front entrance, overflowing bins, no facilities, no reception or manned staff, dodgy living on the hotel guest, arrogant and not giving a toss manger, windows covered in bird excrement, easily be reached for cleaning, stay clear of this dump.

We disliked EVERYTHING. Pictures on site are fake or taken a really long time ago as everything was overgrown, dirty, smelly & dilapidated. Lift didn’t work so was expected to carry a double buggy up & down a curved staircase, place was locked & appeared abandoned when we got there & had to call a number for someone to come let us in, could see all black bin bags everywhere. Decided just to see the room as was late when we got there & had somewhere to be however getting up to the room (& nearly dropping the kids down the stairs) we were led to a room down the end of dark dingy narrow corridor to a room that looked like it hadn’t been decorated, or cleaned, since the 80’s! The window above the bed was wide open & didn’t have a safety latch & was directly under a bed & my 2 yr old nearly fell out! Probably the worst thing of all though was that you couldn’t lock the door from the inside or outside! Felt totally unsafe & could be trafficked & not even joking unfortunately. Said parking on-site aswell however there isn’t it’s at a neighbouring hotel but wasn’t told before we got all our stuff out the car & lugged it down the road. Had to call again for someone to come back & collect the key. The whole ordeal was bloody awful & I’ve stayed in some questionable places but this place really is unsafe & awful & I’ve no idea how it’s got a pleasant rating or some positive reviews! Didn’t get another place to stay until 10pm when we had 2 kids aged 2yrs & 15 weeks so we was all really stressed & tired, when we’d already driven 4 hours to get here. Not letting me upload photos to show how bad it is

We were on the top floor .. there’s no lift in the property . That’s the only thing I can think of ..

Perfect location .. had a sea view room .. when we stay again we would get a room with a balcony.. we only stayed for 1 night but it had everything we needed .. Ahmed who greeted us when we arrived was so lovely.. very polite .. helpful and kindly let us park in his sister hotel next door …

The garden at the front did not give a very good 1st impression. Poor check-in facilities had to ring to be allowed inside, and then the room wasn't ready. Had to wait another 40 minutes for it to be cleaned/prepared. Poor personal hygiene of certain staff left a horrific small in our room. No milk provided, even after requesting some, no chocolate or cookies as stated. The room was not very clean, very dated with shoddy curtains. Poor check out facilities. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everything about the place !

It was soo horrible we couldn't stay at the property due to unhygienic and looks like bed bugs in there and we went with family and we decide to stay different place ! It was really bad experience!

Check in was 3pm we never got our rooms until 6pm had to wait around we had a double room that was filthy poo all on the pan dirty toilet seat and twin room no towels used toiletries in shower and wipes smelt realy bad of urin another double that had no toilet roll brocken toilet seat dirt toilet no staff there to great us never there when we need someone total desarster was descusting couldn't relax waisted over 2 hours to get in the room wich impacting on our planes for the rest of the day not worth the money we should a parchel refund because of all this
