Location was excellent. The New Forest is an beautiful location and the grounds of the accommodation on the exceptional. The lake and swans, greenery, calmness and tranquillity of this place is wonderful.

Nothing to dislike at all. The only very minor recommendation we would have, would be for the fridge to be moved a little further away from the dresser/cooking station, then the top could be opened fully without the risk of knocking the toaster/kettle/coffee machine off the top of the fridge. That said the kitchen area was bigger than we anticipated, very cleverly designed to make the best of the space, and suited us fine. Very minor recommendation and didn't effect our enjoyment of this beautiful cottage.

Superb stay. Accommodation exactly as described. Beds very large & comfy, accommodation very clean and well maintained. The tea, coffee, milk and sugar, plus the fruit basket, were a lovely thought. The grounds are idyllic. We saw, deer, ponies, pigs, ducks, geese, swans and squirrels in/from the Cadnam Lodge Estate grounds. We hope to visit again and stay a bit longer next time (short break this time due to visiting relatives) we would have no hesitation in recommending.

It’s clearly explained in the description, but we did miss having a lounge to relax in, especially as the weather was very wet on two of our three days there.

Staying in the private grounds of the Cadnam estate was wonderful - the gardens and facilities were great ( especially the tennis court ), and seeing all the wild animals every day ( especially the deer ) was so special. The accommodation is well presented, and the welcoming fruit bowl on arrival was a very nice touch!

Faint traffic noise. Rooms very comfortable but no inside sitting area (no problem during our stay in summer).. Departure 10:00 am.

Superb park. Animals. Super clean and comfortable rooms. Good location for walks in the New Forest. Excellent Indian fusion cuisine nearby.

Nothing to dislike

Spacious, stylish and comfortable. Very well equipped in the most opulent surroundings with wildlife venturing into the garden. It was quiet and peaceful in a most well situated location. The complimentary provisions were well received and of a lovely quality. An unforgettable experience and I would love to return.

A really, really minor point, but though there was coffee machine, a cafetière would have been handy as we'd done our food and drink shopping before getting to the property.

The space of the accommodation and the private garden made it very relaxing. Friendly host and good location for exploring the New Forest. The beds were very comfortable. Sadly, we didn't use all of the three TVs.

We wouldn’t have changed anything about the property.

The property was lovely. The whole cottage was very well equipped with everything you need for a weeks holiday! The owners were amazing, during the high winds Sandra was checking in with us making sure we were ok and to see if the power was still on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cadnam Lodge despite the weather. We both will look forward to coming back again, this time hope the weather is a lot nicer!

my only slight gripe was the bathroom was slightly colder than I’d of liked.

it was peaceful and had great access to the new forest. it is really close to the motorway however you would never of known once in the cottage.

Would be nice to have a lounge and also a washing machine as I have been away for 10 days before arriving on site But this is only a suggestion not a criticism 😊

Amazing location and beautiful lodge. Sandra our host was so lovely and had a great wealth of knowledge of the New Forest to help us make the most of our stay. We will definitely be back again!
