The only thing that could be improved, a blind or curtain on the exterior door to allow a little more privacy.

A lovely little cottage in beautiful surroundings. Shawn welcomed us on arrival and there was wine and cakes left for us which was a great touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so comfortable and peaceful.

The cottage was located in beautiful surroundings with stunning views of the coast. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, overall a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would absolutely recommend to friends and family and will hopefully be back soon!

There was nothing we didnt like.

We loved the log cabin. It was fabulously designed with everything you would need for a stay. It was welcoming, with wine and cake left by our hosts. Location is gorgeous.

We had an amazing time at Byre Cottages. The view was absolutely amazing, the cottage is exceptionally clean, very comfy and cosy. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We found the shower and shower room tight for space and would have appreciated a shower mat. Both ends of the cabin are very draughty depending on the wind direction. There were too many dogs around. They were barking a lot, which generally just spoilt the peace and quiet.

Stunning interior, absolutely beautiful and tasteful in design and decor. It was very comfortable and cosy with the log burner on. Amazing sea and countryside views from both outside and inside the cabin. Wonderful to be able to sit, eat and drink whilst looking at that amazing view, whatever the weather. A more private outside area at the side of the cabin, with lovely views and horses that came to visit us. A great smart tv that could be viewed from both the sofa and the bed.

the road to get to cottage was very poor had to drive at 5mph on a very rough road slabs are a bit slippy when wet

Would be nice if there were some basic amenities like salt/pepper in the kitchen and there was a slight draft above the bed which was a slight annoyance but it didn't ruin our stay at all.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Great for a weekend away or longer breaks and in a really good location for coastal walks and hikes. Log burner was a great touch. Hosts were great and very welcoming.

Having to leave

Absolutley incredible experience from start to finish. The hosts are lovely and we had home made treats waiting for us upon arrival! The keys were in the door and my name was on the front door as well welcoming us in. The whole stay was so cozy and it was like every little thing we might need they had already thought of! I absolutley did not want to leave.
