It was all perfect. We had a parking permit for the road which mostly worked well - a bit crowded if you arrive back late - we had to park in another street once as someone had blocked off a long stretch in front of their house for a van which came the following day. Just one of those things.

Perfect location for our needs; the cottage is well furnished with good quality fixtures and fittings plus extras such as an excellent welcome basket, tea bags and coffees, cleaning products, bathrobes etc. The laundry room in the back yard was a great idea and included some washing capsules. Messages from the landlady were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of information about the property and area in the cottage. You can walk to everywhere in Llandovery and there are several good places to eat plus takeaways and a small supermarket. We'd stay there again without a second thought.

We felt very lucky to be welcomed by Bwthyn Y Porthmyn for our honeymoon. The hosts left some lovely touches which made it extra special. The accommodation itself is so well set up. The location is perfect for exploring and being able to enjoy a meal or drink out and a walk home. It was so comfortable we spent an entire day doing absolutely nothing, just enjoying the house. Would highly recommend!

Parking on street was a bit difficult if you arrived in the evening but still managed to find space.

Well presented cottage with everything we needed for short stay. Hot tub was a real bonus. Llandovery is a lovely little town, perfectly placed for exploring both the Cambrian mountains and the Brecon Beacons.

Absolutely everything. The perfect cosy cottage. Felt at home from the start. Great facilities, location, comfortable, the welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the hot tub was great after long days of walking. Will be coming back again and will be recommending to friends and family xx

This was a quite exceptional stay. The cottage is very well equipped, the "welcome pack" was a very nice touch - it was well thought out and generous. Everything worked and worked well. The outside courtyard space with hot tub was altogether enjoyable. We had no problems with parking, shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Llandovery is an attractive place and made a good centre for the places we wanted to visit.

What a wonderful find Bwthyn y Porthmyn was for us - we were in Llandovery for the Urdd Eisteddfod working and it was great to come back after a long day to relax. The cottage was comfortable good quality furnishings and very clean quality bedding excellent location for us equipped with everything you needed even a hot tub in the garden to unwind. Thank you for letting us stay hope to return sometime soon

Great location plenty of walking to be had.on arrival the hosts had left us a welcome basket and a bottle of fizz as it was our anniversary. Hot tub was amazing. The cottage had everything you could possibly need.
