The room was lovely and clean, but the nose of door's slamming was a pain

The hotel is OK if you're just looking for a bed .didn't see the manager at the hotel all the 3 days we stayed. The lady that was seening to us was lovely and was the cleaner .think they need a new manager so we could speak to someone who is now the place.

Great location, budget hotel, don't except 5* from a 2 * hotel and price. Owner helpful and friendly, free parking, tired and rub down hotel but plenty of hot water and clean towels and bedding.

Room very dirty. Old dust everywhere. Toilet very bad and very very dirty. Shower doesn't work properly. We can't take proper shower.

The staff member felt rude and unwelcomed by them there was partying in one of the rooms loud music and arguments the heateri was broken so couldn't turn it off so what was any already hot night was made more uncomfortable and then to find out I overpaid for the room was in and the customer service team found tk be rather unhelpful

Sadly only one thing that was liked and that was the shower

I arrived at the Inglewood and there was no one at reception so I rang the mobile number on the wall and was told to walk down the road to the Sherwood to check in there. Once there, I was shown to my room so went back to get my car! So I was booked at a different hotel! The decor of the room is in very poor condition with marks all over the room. Although the sheets and pillow cases were fresh, I could tel the pillows weren’t. The sink plug was half grotty/rusty metal and half grotty string!!! No excuse for this!

Room/hotel is dated / parts of the room gave run down feeling. It’s like the hotel should be in a ghetto somewhere. My bed was okay but my family member wasn’t too keen on theirs. No lift service during our stay. Kettle wasn’t pleasant inside so didn’t use it. Bedroom, bathtub and sink were very clean but the toilet had excrement on it.

Free parking, very close to the beach. Cheapest price in the area. Clean sheets and bin bag replaced everyday during our stay. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay and can compromise on aesthetics/facilities (literally just need a bed to sleep on and bathroom to use), this might be suitable for you. If you’re looking for a place that gives you the holiday vibes then this probably not suitable for you.

Very outdated and in need of a refurb

We are a family of 6 and this hotel was exactly what we needed and at a lower price to any nearby. The rooms are very outdated and in need of serious refurb but it looks like this is already in progress as the other wing to where we stayed looked to have been more updated. We, however, only needed somewhere safe and comfortable to sleep as we were out all day and back late in the evening and this hotel provided exactly that (the beds were super comfortable) . The location is superb with an easy walk down to the beachfront and although we didn't need much of a staff presence, Isabelle on reception was there when we needed her and was super helpful and friendly with it (not to mention she called immediately after we left to let me know I had left my laptop in the room saving me an awful lot of trouble). By no means a 5* hotel but was perfect for what we needed. I would book again.

The bed was advertised as extra large double. It was a small double. By phone they are rude and abrupt . The bed was uncomfortable. The curtains were old and let lots of light in during the morning. The hotel itself is very old and run down.

The woman managing the hotel was lovely. She let us in after check in helped us park and used her phone to light the steps for us. Location is good and 5 mins walk to the sea front.

too much sadly. on arrival kettle was dirty on the outside, rubbish in the draws, leaking toilet, general hygiene of the building very poor. garden not lived for years, dirty pool, again not used for years, the whole site is so run down it needs closing and sorting out. bar closed, communal area is like a dumping ground for furniture.

When we arrived we couldn’t find anyone to check us in, we phoned the numbers and so did another family but we we’re waiting about 15 minutes until someone arrived. The hotel wasn’t the cleanest and the room was tiny for three of us. The shower wasn’t very good either but done what we needed it to do.

location was great, 10 minute walk from the town. free parking was a great bonus.

I would agree with another lady who commented. You get what you pay for and it’s really not that bad as a room for a night ( we stayed for 3) It’s outdated and needs some renovations but we didn’t expect much more for £33 a night! Carpet could have done with a clean though

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. A brilliant location for Torquay and free parking. Check in was very quick and the guy that checked us in helped carry our luggage up to the room. The other member of staff seemed like a lovely lady and was polite. She seemed very busy. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean, clean towels and a great big TV and coffee, tea, hot chocolate provided with a kettle.
