We knew it was on a hill, but what a hill! Not for the faint hearted walking back up the hill. Wouldn't like to walk up in bad weather as it was so steep.

Everything we could have wanted or needed was available, coffee, sugar, cleaning products, milk waiting in the fridge. Extremely clean and well set out. Excellent value for money. View breath-taking.

Only minor inconvenience is the temperature of the shower in the main bedroom en-suite could be difficult to get hot

The views, the hosts, the apartment, the location, everything was just wonderful. And a suprising bonus, the array of little birds in the gardens under our windows. Really lovely to sit and watch them with a cup of tea in the mornings.

Honestly we can't think of anything we did not like. The accommodation was warm , well equipped and our hosts had thought of everything to make it a really comfortable stay

The location is stunning and we enjoyed the walk from Barmouth up the hill to the apartments, the views are outstanding

The only issue i would say is the drive up is through a narrow single lane but in all honesty it wasn't really a major problem. Once you were up, it was bliss.

The location and views from the windows were excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. The apartment was very clean and well laid out. Lots of things to do for the family whilst staying in the apartment as well.

It wasn't an issue for us but anyone with mobility problems may struggle with location as up a steep hill

So impressed with our stay, the view was phenomenal. The apartment was scrupulously clean and everything like new. The owners were very friendly and accomodating.

I could not think of anything not to like.

The appartment was superbly kitted out with every possible item you would need to make your stay as pleasurable as could be, from the main items, such as smart TV and dish washer, to a coffee espresso machine and a cool bag for any picnic you may plan . The view from any of the windows was breathtaking, looking over the estuary, even the numerous, colourful birds feeding in the garden was a treat.

Lots of little touches, like having tea, coffee sachets and a delicious Bara Brith to welcome us to the property. The views from our apartment we outstanding. Especially enjoyed watching the trains cross the bridge across the estuary.

The house is up a very tough hill, walking back from town up the hill is hard going, not too far but very steep, so this is not a place to stay if you are not fit.If you are, it gives you wonderful views over Barmouth

Some people might be put-off by the hill from the main road to the house, but parking is provided, a range of taxis serve the house and walking up the hill a few times is good training for walking up the world's steepest street in Harlech!

Very welcoming with lots of information available so we could make the most of being in the area. The facilities are amazing and the apartment was very comfortable and clean. The setting is very peaceful and well-placed for walks either into Barmouth or in the surrounding countryside, eg on the paths above Barmouth, the panorama viewpoint or across the railway bridge to Fairbourne.
