There was nothing I didn't like.

Our stay was brilliant. Hosts where fantastic! Very warm and welcoming. Lovely couple to talk to. Me and my partner got engaged here last weekend and they even made the effort with congratulationing us with candles ! definitely return again and I highly recommend.

Location excellent, free onsite parking, Liz an absolutely excellent host and the breakfasts cooked by Graham were top notch. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower room great. Have no hesitation recommending

The owners were very nice, clean place, location about 10 mins walk from railway station, quiet area, less than 5 mins walk to the city centre.

We were very well looked after and given lots of information of the area. The place was very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and good safe parking for our Harley Davidson Motorbikes. Would stay there again. Our host recommended a local pub, away from the tourist area within walking distance which was excellent affordable food. Plus on one evening allow us the use of the breakfast room as we brought back a takeaway

The stairs were fine for me, however for people with mobility issues it could be challenging. This is typical of a small establishment. Graham carried my luggage to my room without me having to ask for help.

The live-in hosts Graham and Liz took exceptional care of me and as an Australian, they have visited Brisbane and elsewhere several times, so we had very friendly rapport. The location is approximately a pleasant 7 minutes walk north to the commercial area of Windermere in a quiet residential area. The free on-site parking is a bonus for a small B&B establishment.

Lovely, traditional B&B, clean and comfortable, great breakfasts, quiet location (with off-street parking) only a couple of minutes walk from Windermere’s shops and restaurants, with super friendly and helpful owners who clearly love what they do. We’ll be back!

We have a very enjoyable week here at the Brook house. Liz and Graham are amazingly good at providing travel tips, tasty hot breakfast, and friendly chats. We will surely return to this place next time when we are in Windermere.

There’s nothing to dislike.

Great location, easy parking, really clean and tidy and very well kept and plenty of towels, linen, toiletries etc. Breakfast is exceptional and Liz & Graham genuinely couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating and helpful.

Stayed at Brook House over the weekend & we were very happy with our stay. The rooms are very comfortable & the hotel is very clean. Good selection for breakfast & the produce was excellent. I was really impressed with the welcome we received from Liz & Graham who were very very helpful & friendly throughout our stay. Lovely break in a beautiful location.

Lovely light airy room. Liz and Graham are lovely hosts and very accommodating. Asked if we could check in 2hours earlier than planned and this was no problem. Enjoyable breakfast in the mornings. Would recommend a stay here.

best bed and breakfast I have ever stay and will definitely go back , very very clean , arrived with a big welcome smile off Liz and offering us a cup of coffee on arrival showed us to room 2 our room there was not thing out of place the room was immaculate and clean , Liz made time to show us all the attractions in and around Windermere, and well Graham what can I say , you make a fantastic breakfast and a good host well done to you both if anyone is looking for some where to stay go to brook house I promise you will not be disappointed AAA
