Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandRoom was larger than I expected. There could have been a small chair or something to lay clothes etc. Only one night table with the double bed. The breakfast room was a bit hard to find.
Location was in the center, though a bit far from the railway station. There isn't a convinient bus route from the station to the hotel if you have large luggage. If you want to use the buses to the centre or towards Eastbourne, you have to walk a bit for the nearest stop. Otherwise the hotel was situated next to great shops (M&S, Primark) and a large shopping center.

United KingdomI don't think there was anything we didn't like. The corridors were weirdly very hot when walking to your room.
Room was nice, clean and had everything you need for a night or two. Breakfast was nice, a small selection of hot cooked items, and a few other bits pastries, cereals and some fruit. Plenty to keep you going till lunch. Staff nice and friendly and reception is manned 24/7 so very secure.

United KingdomIn reality for the comparative price it was all good, so nothing to dislike.
Hotel was really good for a couple of nights when all we wanted was a comfortable bed and a clean room. Brighton hotel prices seem to have shot up and a lot of them offer run down accommodation that is not good value for money. Britannia Study hotel offers a nice room at a comparatively good price and the breakfast was far better than expected. I recommend this hotel if you are happy for a no frills but comfortable stay in a reasonable location in Brighton- our weekend was for a reunion with friends and most others were disappointed with their Brighton hotel due to noise / cleanliness and general value for money.
