Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Perfect location 2 mins from seafront and 5 mins from the start of the lanes. Parking permits (£10 per day) issued by the B&B meant we were able to park in the same street as the property. Breakfast choice was fantastic from a grilled English to lighter options if preferred. If visiting Brighton again we will definitely stay at Brightonwave…it’s a real gem!

Very welcoming hosts, great breakfast choices and nice extras such as chocolates and large bottle of water in room. Great value and excellent location.

Richard and Simon are so welcoming and professional and nothing seems to be a bother. The rooms are a lovely size and come very well equipped. United KingdomThe whirlpool bath was lovely. I did miss a stand up shower but I see that the basement / garden room head height doesn't permit this and I didn't mind overall in the end.
A really warm welcome, supremely comfortable and clean room and good breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the lanes and the beachfront.

We loved everything about this place… nothing too much trouble for hosts and the room was gorgeous. Lovely and thoughtful added touches … a sweetie treat pot in room with tea and coffee….and a great choice for breakfast which was all beautifully freshly cooked . The location was ideal for sea, the Lanes, town centre , Pavilion , cinema , station a very do-able walk away and nice coffee shops nearby. A quiet street too. We couldn’t stay anywhere else on our next visit. Definitely a great find.

Wonderful B & B with wonderful hosts Richard & Simon who couldn't do enough for you. We stayed in the Garden Room, facilities were excellent, loved the room and jacuzzi bath. It's the little things that made all the different, fresh milk in the fridge, coffee machine, chocolates. Breakfast the two days we stayed was exceptional. This will be our go too place now when staying in Brighton and we can't wait for our next visit.
