Great location, quiet for sleeping but close to everything. Lovely owners, attentive and friendly but not too much. Lovely breakfast, massive comfy bed, very clean. Lots of little extras, chocolate, plenty of tea/coffee, water. Little fridge in room, hairdryer, iron (even ironing water!) nice towels, good strong shower. Spacious room. Couldn’t ask for more really. Will definitely stay again. Very comfortable and hassle free.

Perfect location! I was down for my university graduation, it was just perfect for me and my friend. The hotel is close to town and the pier lots do.

It was really relaxing comfortable stay in central location. Kind and helpful hosts. The room was clean and cosy, also breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the walls are so thin and I could not sleep the first night as I could hear everything from the room above mine on the first floor. Shame, but that's the type of walls which are not soundproof.

The hotel was very clean, Richard and Simon the hosts were very kind, helpful and pleasant to have a chat with!

It is a bit noisy overhead at breakfast time in the basement room but it didn’t really bother me. Clearly most people are up for breakfast but I am not a morning person 😉😂This was a minor point and didn’t affect my enjoyment of the stay.

I liked Richard and Simon, my room, the amazingly comfortable bed, the location in Kemptown with a lovely park and shops just up the road. I liked the bowl of fruit and the little tin of choccies, the dvd library and the way the window boxes are kept so neat. The breakfast choice is lovely and cooked to perfection. The fans in the room to keep it cool and as a solo traveller feeling safe and cared for. New water bottle every day as well.

Absolutely nothing

Spacious bedroom with modern bathroom. Breakfasts are amazing and plentiful. Nice little extras like biscuits with your hot drinks and little dish of chocolates replenished every day. Thank you Richard and Simon for making our stay very pleasant. 👍

Richard and Simon were kind, attentive and thoughtful hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a weekend away. The cooked breakfast was lovely. Location was great, easy walk to the beach and close to a range of restaurants and pubs.
