There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, maybe new mattresses for the single beds, they were a little uncomfortable for our friends.

The location is great, close to amenities and about a 25 min walk from the railway station. It was lovely inside the apartment exceptionally clean and comfortable with the most beautiful harbour views. The shower was excellent and the double bed very comfortable. We had everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. We would love to come back.

The entrance-way to the property felt like breaking into a bank. Lots of bars and gates and quite a faff, but I do understand why it's all there. Honestly it works quite well because after all that security, when you see the apartment it just adds to the wow factor.

What a fantastic place! The apartment is bright and ENORMOUS. Amazingly, despite its incredible location literally above a row of shops and bars and restaurants, there wasn't a peep all night (and on a Friday)! Getting keys was very, very easy. Two toilets was brilliant. Bed was SO comfy. Shower was AWESOME. Wouldn't hesitate to come back here next time I'm in the area.

Everything was spot on to be fair

The view out the apartment was lovely and the hosts left things like washing up liquid, black bags toilet roll etc for us which are things you’d either forget or have to buy when you’re there .

Beautiful large apartment, bright, spacious, exceptionally clean with stunning views across the harbour. Great location, car park only a few minutes away. The apartment is quiet and relaxing, great family apartment.

Lighting on the stairs wasn’t great with a little one. Couldn’t turn a light on until the very top. Shower was temperamental.

I booked Blue Skies Apartment for my wife’s 40th birthday for 2 nights. There was a car park just around the corner with both underground and parking without height restriction (which we needed for our vehicle). The car parking had cctv but to be honest we felt fine leaving the car there. The accommodation itself was brilliant we cannot fault it. It was easy to access, clean and just so beautifully presented. As we arrived there was a card and gift to my wife, it was such a lovely personal touch that was unexpected. We used the kitchen oven to make breakfast but other than that we we ate out. The views were incredible looking out over the boats in the harbour, we very much enjoyed a morning tea in bed looking at that view. We used the local bus to get us around, which was incredibly reasonable and ran every 10 minutes. We would love to come and stay here again. Thank you Blue Skies owners for such a wonderful stay and going the extra mile to make my wife’s stay an extra special one.

Lovely spacious apartment right on the harbour, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Thoughtful host, with small finishing touches that really make a difference. Stayed over Christmas and was greeted by some chocs and wine on our arrival.

We stayed at the beginning of March and the thermostat was set at 13 degrees when we arrived. It was absolutely freezing in the apartment and it took a long time to warm up to a comfortable temperature. A guest information folder was mentioned in an email we were sent but we never found it.

Good location in the centre of town with a car park a 5 minute walk away. Although it was on quite a busy street there was very little road noise Good wifi Plenty of hot water for the shower

When messaging the host less than a week before enquiring about some information with regards to the property we were informed that it no longer had a bath as it had recently been refurbished to incorporate a larger shower. This was very disappointing as one of the key reasons for choosing this property was for the bath and we felt like we had learned this information far too late to be able to change plans. The property still shows images of a bath which is very misleading for people booking the property. Also considering the bathroom was just refurbished the door as every other in the property was very bashed up and need or repainting, found this to be the case with quite a few things within the property.

The day before we were due to leave we discovered that the mattress in the main bedroom had a lot of liquid stains (urine?), at least 75% of the mattress had l yellow liquid stains. We were shocked to discover we had been sleeping on the mattress like this unawares. We contacted the hosts and they at first tried to blame fake tan, the stains clearly aren’t fake tan. We told the hosts that we were uncomfortable now sleeping on the mattress for our last night. They did offer a one night refund if we wanted to check out early but this wasn’t possible. I told them that they should be steam cleaning the mattresses to which they said they would consider it in future but it was difficult with back to back bookings. This is totally unacceptable. My husband slept on the sofa for our last night and I slept in the spare bed in my sons room. Hosts didn’t seems to care at all. Just made excuses for the state of the mattress. We book air b&b regularly and have never come across a mattess so dirty, we have every right to expect a better standard, especially for the price paid. It is a shame really because everything else was fine, no other complaints.

The oven didn’t work on the timer it didn’t turn itself off & kept on constant ruined a extra large chicken.the owners may not be aware of this as some people don’t cook.

Size brill loads of space for 4.view location excellent.
