The only thing that was very minor was that there were no cups or mugs. So, none of us could have a cuppa in the morning.

Nowhere to hang washing to dry as no access to the side garden, boiler wasn’t working but soon rectified, front footpath needs cleared of overhanging/overgrown trees as couldn’t walk up the path, easily to fix though

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner around the floor and the rack in the shower. If you were nit-picking the bathroom is a little dated but you have everything you need and other areas of the house are more modern.

Loved the location. Uber was reasonably price to Stadium of Light, not too far. Short drive to the front at South Shields and the excellent fish restaurant/bar Coleman's Seafood Temple which we'd highly recommend.

Before I even got there I got a message to say that my stay had been cancelled because there wasn’t a room available even though on booking.com a deluxe room was shown.! This left me stranded for the night as I had paid for the room and then had nowhere to stay. When I contacted the property and asked could o still come I received a abrupt message of “ NOPE!” They didn’t even try and help find alternative options for me and the custom service was absolutely shocking!! Avoid.

The fact that I didn’t even step foot in the place probably for the best.!!!

Facilities are excellent. It has everything you could need in the kitchen. Lovely and warm home. Beds are very comfortable. Beautiful front garden.

Downstairs toilet kept filling with water and then overflowing into the pan. Also, only a cold water tap fitted on basin under boiler, which you could barely use unless you are 3ft tall. The upstairs toilet seat was so loose it might as well not have been fitted. The upstairs shower room window was stuck in the open position. None of the built-in wardrobes that had sliding doors actually slid in any direction whatsoever. Lack of kitchen utensils, more so not a single knife to be found. Lamps that have no bulbs, I guess, are best used as a decorative ornament. Crumbs under all sofas and more so under the sofa cushions. Worst of all, I did try twice to contact the owner regarding the issues, but there was no response at all.

Service was not good at all. I should’ve my money back. Both toilets has problems. I called the caretaker but didn’t do anything. There is mould in the house. Bedcover wasn’t look clean. Even it was black, green and grey colour.

Location for work and the area as there was all the amenities locally

Very comfortable full kitchen facilities as was working away so nice to make our own food beds where very comfortable

Everything was nice and clean, comfortable beds lovely little property with everything working nicely. The property is situated as it is described and the communication from the host was 10/10 i wouldn't hesitate to book again and will definitely be back in the future although the location doesn't look ideal it's actually a lovely quiet area

TV was foreign channels and wasnt set up. Had to register with apps to watch. wi-fi code was wrong. Struggled to park and had to walk all the way round other houses to get in. Wire across the bedroom floor to the TV trip Hazard. opened Milk left in the fridge from other people. tried to contact owners before stay with questions re what we needed with us cleaning wise etc and they never answered them. contacted them when we got there re TV and they answered 3 hours later , i had already worked out the wi-fi code by then but they ignored the question on the TV .
