Owners could not have been more welcoming or done more to make us feel at home! Spotlessly clean. Comfortable room Being able to help yourself to breakfast when needed was fab, and access to a microwave in the evenings was a major bonus too.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Made to feel at home. The accommodation was very clean throughout and the use of the breakfast room throughout the day and evening was really useful. The hosts were very accommodating. Great value.

I was made to feel so welcome. Travelled to visit a family member who was in hospital so I was unsure when I could check in, however they were so flexible and friendly. Check in went smoothly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was serve yourself, with a good range of options, but in addition, Julie and Paul offered use of dining room/snacks etc at other times too. Excellent value for the price I paid. Thank you so much Julie and Paul - you made a difficult visit go so much better.

Paul and Julie were always there if needed but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our stay. What can you dislike about that?

On our arrival we were greeted at the front door by Paul and Julie and after signing in and shown the living room and foining room, we were directed to our room in the attic and given our keys for the door. The Penthouse suite is the best I said. We even had our own bathroom and toilet on the same floor because the other room on our floor was empty. Our room was spacious with tv Internet and tea/coffee making facilities and we had a good night's sleep on our comfy bed. Our breakfast was continental style and we had free hand to cereal, fruit drink toast followed by a cup of tea and snacks, like crisps and bread roll. Overall our stay was as perfect as it could have been. Paul and Julie were on hand if needed but not overlooking everything that was going on, which gave us a lot of freedom and was relaxing The guest house was close to the shops and I'm sure that we will return on our next trip to Hartlepool

The breakfast was of a wide variety, with plenty of healthy options. The bedroom was cosy and comfortable, and well-heated so I felt comfortable at night. The hosts were really welcoming and pleasant. The hotel was very close to the train station (maybe a fifteen minute walk).

The hosts were super sweet. Really liked that the room came with the option to make a hot drink and water was offered too - that's really helpful when travelling! Everything was clean, tidy and organised. Loved the interior decor - very cute and cosy, a homely feel. I loved the layout for breakfast and it had everything from cereals, toast, yogurts, cheeses and fruits! Everything was really thought through, including the toiletries in the wash room. The bed room was pretty quiet and got a good night sleep!
