The property is a little 'out-of-town'. That is all really.

The room was nice. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The self-service breakfast room was open all day. Paul and Julie, who look after the property are very amicable and generally 'on-hand' most of the time.

I have no comment for this section - there is nothing to dislike.

The staff/owners were extremely friendly. I could not have asked for an easier stay, I even had a parking space right at the front of the property. I’d highly recommend the property to any workers, or couples requiring a room there was even a very clean bathroom for my ablutions including a bath - what a treat it was to soak for an hour or so. Unfortunately I hadn’t had time to utilise the breakfast facilities although every need appeared to be accommodated for.

Julie and Paul warmest welcome I've ever had anywhere I've stayed. Lovely sized room with lots of room big King size bed so starfishing isn't a problem when your 6'1 lots and tea and coffee in the room. cracking breakfast for on the go. 10 min walk from the rail station. this is now my go-to place when up in the north east. worth the travel

Staff were very welcoming. Facilities were very clean, especially the shared bathroom. I enjoyed the flexibility of the continental breakfast times, and the sandwich-making facilities. Also liked the ceiling fan in the hot weather.

The bedroom & bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was help yourself to fruit juice, cereals, toast, tea & coffee. Which was quite adequate for us. BIG+, was, its dog friendly. Would definitely book again if we were in the area.

There is nothing that couldn't be done better at this amazing B & B.

I don't think I have stayed in a better B & B in all the years of travelling around the UK and believe me I have been in a lot! The question given, a vague one that should be more specific, asks "Did the price you paid match the expectations you had when you booked?" Yes, no or I don't remember. The answer I gave is no, not because I wanted to portray a negative about this outstanding B & B but becuase for the price I was charged I never expected such excellence! From the friendly welcome, the thorough introduction to the rooms and services, the breakfast and in bedroom coffee, tea etc, the personal attention to ensuring a really comfortable stay, a well furnished room and great attention to detail. The cost is amazing and refreshingly low at this time when so many B & Bs seem to be costing the earth without breakfast! FANTASTIC value. Lovely people. Thank you.

Really thoughtful hosts!! V welcoming and friendly. Really touched that they got in loads of gluten free products for my stay. The breakfast room was well equipped and hosts urged us to help ourselves. 100% recommend, couldn't have asked for better!

Not much around in terms of eating out unless you want a walk into the town centre but there is a takeaway just along from the B and B and there are other places a short drive away. Otherwise, all fine.

The hosts did all they could to make sure we had a comfortable stay; refreshments and other items were plentiful and changed/replaced every day. This must be the best place in Hartlepool in terms of value for money.
