Roomy - comfirtable - beautiful location.

No single chair or table in the room. Do not follow the gps as It would take you to different location (Owner has sent me detailed description of how to get there). The main door stays open all night long so you may feel a bit unsecure but those are small issues :) in overall is strong 9 out of 10 :)

Good place for overnight stay while exploring the Island. The room was nice, clean and warm. Owner was helpful. There is a room downstairs where you can prepare breakfast with some kitchen accessories. Interior is old fashioned but stylish. The location is nice, next to historical buidling. The bathroom is just huge :) Despite the fact that house is close to main road it was very quiet at night. I can recommend this place. Thank you

The location was excellent, in the countryside but not far from Derry (15/20 min by car). The room was simply great : big, cozy, well decorated, with a huge and comfortable bed and a big private bathroom (thanks for the upgrade David). Car park in front of the house. Coffee/tea facilities and the possibility to use the fridge in the shared dining room. Everything was great. I definitely recommend it!

The only thing I think is a bit tricky is getting there during the dark. It's a little confusing if you don't see exactly where your going but David's explanation helped a lot and we eventually got there with out a greater issue! Also Once you have done the way one it's very self explanatory to get back there again... So I would definitely recommend to stay there longer than just for one night as we did!

This place was amazing! It was a last minute decision and we arrived very late but there was no issue and the host understood and the self check in was quick and easy. We didn't get to speak to him in person because we had to leave early in the morning but over all it was very nice! Super clean and the bathroom was extremally cool! (Go and check it out to find out for yourself!)

Unfortunately the bed was not well supported as I was a little worried that the slats underneath the mattress would break if I moved too much. Also quite a few stains on the carpet.

The location of Brackfield House is in a very nice, quiet and peaceful area with lovely scenery

However, there are bats at this time of year, and although my sister and I don't mind them, my friend didn't like them and was nervous about the bats . I would recommend visitors being informed about the bats.

No TV, kettle, desk or chair in my room. Very difficult place to find due to road works blocking near by access routes. No shops, pubs, restaurants within about 3 miles.

Unusual period farm house, nicely decorated and furnished.

1.. no staff to greet us on arrival an direct us to our room… 2…owner contacted me by phone an stated tha we were in the wrong room an requested that he pack up our belongings to move us to another room. 3..we told him we would return from our evening out to pack our belongings ourselves…. 3.on arrival back at guest house the owner had already packed our belongings against our wishes. 4.. the room we wer moved to was fully carpeted even the bathroom,, the smell of stale acid urine was horrendous.. 5..we couldn’t open the bathroom windows as the insects on the outside of them was covering the whole window.. 6,, the dining room floor literally had slugs on it… 7… we had no one to complain to as the owner was not reachable…….. 8… on leaving the premises at checkout time Ther yet again was no staff present,, There fore we could not express our terrible experience staying at this guest house… the conditions were extremely concerning- especially when we had read previous positive reviews prior to making our booking.
