That our plans already drove us away so early.

Already before the trip we were well informed by Wayne and Caroline about the stay. At arrival, Wayne and Caroline gave us a warm welcome and great advice about places to see and eat. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip so far. The rooms were nice and comfy, and the shower after a long journey simply perfect. A huge thanks to both for everything.

The bed was a little small for a couple.

The hosts were very accommodating , and the location was right on the beach and very quiet. The breakfast was very good. Wayne took the time to point out all the best tourist spot’s which was very helpful.

The roads leading up to the House were very narrow.

It was a little far out on a road that was substandard, with only one nearby restaurant…two things we wish we had researched better. Also, bring a noise machine or ear plugs, walls were a bit thin.

It is a remote location and has many miles of one track road which has many blind summits and sharp curves. One has to watch very carefully for incoming traffic and find a passing area on the side to move into. Although most drivers are polite and where possible, stop at passing areas to let you through, it is still stressfull, especially when raining. There are also potholes, which have to be navigated.

The place is pretty and room is nice and comfortable. The bathroom very spacious. The light breakfast was ok. The hosts were great. I forgot my cellphone and they notified us and mailed it to the guest house we stayed 3 days later.

The only annoying thing was the noise from the next room. Some other guests were somewhat inconsiderate!

This was a good little B&B. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to give tips and advice on where to go and what to see. They were approachable and kind. The twin room was OK but the view was nothing special, as clearly there is some work being carried out in the garden at this time. The view from the house over the bay was lovely, even in the rain!

The initial drive along the single track road was a little disconcerting but having done it once it was not a problem thereafter. Being in such a beautiful remote spot made the drive more than worthwhile. If you want 'easy' you can stay in Portrush with hundreds of other people and little to look at. Bracadale is right on the beach, we were able to watch dolphins from the bedroom window. Wayne and Caroline are absolutely delightful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. There is so much to do but to be honest I was happy sitting in the garden looking at the amazing view in such tranquility. We were blessed with the most incredible sunsets while we were there. We wouldn't hesitate to return here should we return to Skye.

Absolutely nothing.

We loved everything about this marvellous place a little diamond of a place,the couple who own it are so lovely nothing is too much trouble and had such good laughs and conversations,always helped us if we needed information about anything.The room we had was out of this world so stunning it was just perfect the views are breathtaking and we couldn't have wished for more.The breakfasts are amazing and lots of variety Definitely coming back again.Such a perfect place.

Bracadale House is located right on the water, so the rooms at the front of the house have a lovely view. Wayne and Caroline were great hosts--very warm and fun to talk to. They were very helpful in giving us ideas about what to visit and answering our questions. We didn't pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but the cold breakfast that was provided was great! It had a lot of variety and was delicious. The area was very quiet and my husband felt quite safe jogging around there in the morning. Everything was nicely decorated and our needs were well taken care of. It's a good place to stay, especially when exploring the southern half of Skye, though you can easily hit the northern peninsulas from there, too.
