Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomVery little - I suppose you will be slightly out the way from food deliveries so take some cookable items and snacks with you. The shower although hot enough isn't that powerful and unfortunately on our stay the water struggle to drain away. However the owner did assure me this would be rectified. We did find the bed slightly on the small side however after a couple of days of trekking we didn't really notice it since we were knocked out by 10pm. You may struggle with lack of a cupboard but we made do with the shelves available.
The Blue Oyster is situated in a very quaint and quiet part of Mullion, only 10 minutes from Lizard Point. You can walk into Mullion Town Centre which is 10 to 15 minutes with the local Spar and Boots available for bits and pieces. There is also a NisaLocal which is a 2 minute drive towards the A3083. You get off street parking on a shared drive, just be aware you are pulling out onto a main road on a slightly blind bend. We didn't have any real issues, just roll down the windows and keep an ear out for tyre/engine noise. The surroundings of the Blue Oyster are exceptional, with the rolling hills of Lizard Heritage Coast and the gardens within which are meticulously maintained by the owner. Within the Blue Oyster itself you will find a wide open living space leading towards the kitchen. Everything is very well maintained and absolutely spotless. Plenty of windows letting in light and the place itself is very well insulated. You won't really need anything for the kitchen as everything is supplied for you - previous occupants tend to leave bits and pieces for you in terms of cooking ingredients. Oven, electric hob, kettle, toaster and microwave all supplied. The bed is comfy with nice fluffy pillows although we did bring our own. This leads into an en suite with a shower which also come equipped with loo rolls, hand wash and towels. If you haven't been worn out from all the walking and sightseeing - Bruce, the dog which resides on the plot with the owner will most likely come to you with a ball and want to play fetch till you pass out! The pool table is a nice touch.

Great location near to Mullion Cove. Inside the cottage a fantastic pool table and a wood burner! A dishwasher so no need to spend ages doing the washing up

It's a nice quiet place to stay but not miles from facilities , mullion is just down the road which has co-op a restaurant/takeaway and a pub
