If I have to be picky we both struggled with the shower being over the bath because both my wife and myself have mobility problems but we coped for the three nights we stayed and S ue told if we return we can have room4 which has a walk in shower but what a place to stay it is ideal

The hotel was really nice and Chris and Sue made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to make us welcome. I had the full English the first morning and struggled to finish it the hotel was amazing will definitely return.

The location is great, the house is lovely, the people are very friendly. There's lots to see in the area, but it's also a great place to just relax for a while. There's a great pub literally on the other side of the street.

    Nothing!

Everything about our stay was perfect! The hosts went above and beyond in every possible way and made us feel right at home. The rooms were lovely with great attention to small details, the food every morning was consistently amazing, and the area is beautiful! No negatives to say at all.

The owners were friendly and very nice The place was so beautifully decorated and furnished to a high quality, spotless and homely, we have stayed in so called high end hotels in the past but Blaisdon house surpassed any of them ,5 * is not close to enough of a high rating for this establishment , would recommend a visit as u will not be disappointed and such value for money, the breakfast was amazing, well presented and prepared, everything fresh

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect. The only suggestion I'd have would be adding a hash brown to the already delectable breakfast!

The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. There were lots of extra touches that didn't go unnoticed, such as chocolate on the pillow, tea making facilities with biscuits. Soaps and extras in the bathroom. The room was very warm and cosy, with a lovely view from the window. The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower. The bed was so comfortable with lovely soft linen provided. We loved the lanterns outside, as we arrived after dark. There is a beautiful area to sit, and the house has a wonderful feel as soon as you walk in. The breakfast is cooked to order, and a fantastic selection of cereal options too. Lots of choice and nothing was too much trouble. There is also a lovely country pub across the road for main meals which is very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend it and would book again.

Best ever breakfast served with a smile in elegant surroundings. Most comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room equipped with everything one might need. Lovely garden for outdoor relaxation. Peaceful location; a car is pretty much essential - part of the pleasure is driving round the lanes in the beautiful countryside. Our second visit and we will return.

A minor point - would prefer real coffee in room rather than instant. But tea pot to make tea a bonus!

Incredible breakfast sourced from local suppliers. Beautiful house, and room; drawing room for guests a bonus. Welcoming, hospitable host.

Very welcoming and personable owners. The room and bathroom were spotless, and we didn't want for anything. There's a lovely little pub right opposite with good food and ale. Beautifully cooked breakfast, with a wide range of choice for all. A lovely location, very close to the Wye and Severn Valley Smokery, which is well worth a visit, especially if you like fish. We had a very enjoyable few days. We will be returning. Thank you.

Having to leave...very sad to have to leave such a haven of peace, quiet and perfection and of course having a beautiful breakfast being cooked for me each morning.

The wow factor when you arrive at Blaisdon house is only surpassed by when you walk in through the front door and then you get the wow wow factor, and this was surpassed by entering my room, Room 2, with the 4 poster bed, and then I got the wow wow wow factor. Where do I start....its stunning, Sue and Chris are fantastic hosts, its beautiful, it smells good, nice background music that's uplifting, its bright, its airy, its impeccably furnished, its colourful, its interesting and it feels like a home you'd just love to live in. And that's the magic that Sue and Chris have created, its feels like home. Beyond comfortable and relaxing, its perfection if there ever was perfection.
