Couldn't work the TV to even get normal tv. The Internet wouldn't connect but the facilities information did say no WiFi. It was intermittent on my mobile. The attachment on the shower holder to slot the shower head into was missing. It wasn't so bad for me being 5ft 4 but my husband is 6ft 2 so having to wash, try and dangle the shower head without it turning to spray on the shower door then pick it back up again to rinse was quite a challenge. Easily could have been sorted with a suction shower head holder If it's too much to replace the whole holder. I did tell the staff on check out but no one seemed interest or apologised. That being said I would definitely come back.

The room was lovely, bright and clean. Bathroom was nicely decorated and clean. Bed was super super comfy. Towels and bed linen fresh and clean. Toiletries a lovely extra. It was a little noisy with some traffic but not enough to keep you awake. Other rooms quiet, you could hear mild noise but not enough to keep you awake. Lovely place to stay, I will definitely be back to stay again. And would recommend to friends and family.

There was a stain on the bedsheet. There was a constant noise outside our window from a machine probably kitchen equipment. I slept through it though because the beds are comfy.

It was in a great location, friendly staff and the room was homely and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing too. We really did have a fab time. Thank you for accommodating us so well.

The windows are old and single pane. The noise from traffic and seagulls woke us early. The shower bracket was broken, the WIFI was undetectable on the top floor and the TV wasn't tuned in.

Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. The area is nice and the parking options are good. The on-suite was in good condition and well cleaned.

The room wasn't big enough for a wardrobe so a couple of coat hangers were on a hook on the back of the door. It would have been nice to have larger towels as, despite not being that big, the towels did not wrap round us. Some would say it was a bonus, but the heater kicked out a lot of heat. The windows were sash and we couldn't get it to stay open for some fresh air.

We were visiting LIPA and the location couldn't have been better. Was really easy to get to and from Lime Street station the taxi cost under GBP10. It is a doable walk but it is on top of the hill very near the Cathedral and various universities. The room had complimentary water and tea/coffee. Flat screen TV was a good size. The shower was excellent and limited toiletries were supplied (no shower cap and no hair dryer)

Bit noisy in the night between 3 and 6 with people returning home or just talking on the street. Windows old sash windows so not double glazed. Coffee machine no good to make tea with as water doesnt get hot enough so i drank wine lol :)

The room was lovely , comfortable, clean and warm. Seperate entrance so you dont have to enter the pub. Easy to get quick uber into town and back. Chinatown 10min walk. Food looked lovely but sadly had already eaten. Would stay again .

Shower was awful - we were at the top of the property (room 5) and the pressure was really low, I actually had shampoo on my hair when water stopped altogether and it was really cold

Very clean, quiet, safe hotel above the pub. We had room 3 which was compact and ideal for a short stay. Pleasantly decorated and cosy. The heater was very effective for the cold weather. Also there was a fan for hotter days. Having key to main entrance door meant we didn't have to keep disturbing the reception/bar staff. We took the opportunity to enjoy their delicious Sunday roast. Great location for Philharmonic Hall shows and other Liverpool main sites.
