The cottage could do with a lick of paint but that didn't put us off from deciding we want to come back again!

I stayed at this cottage for a couple of nights with two of my friends. There was nothing we didn't like about this cottage. It was situated in a perfect location, not far from the beach with very quiet surroundings which we all loved. Very easy to find too. We can't wait to come back...

I really needs a better clean the fireplace full of big cobwebs and the units besides the beds needed wiping with wet cloths to remove ring stains. the showers round the bottom were very grubby and there was a smell of urine in the small bathroom. Also NO frying pan !! Just when you have time for a cooked Breakfast no pan 🤷‍♀️. Also couldn’t use the barbecue as it was locked!! But on the positive it is value for money, lovely location , nice and private, just needs a little tic.

Arrival process was difficult, having received an email with full directions but no mention of how we get in we had to chase several times for code only to be told that we would not get it before paying a £160.00 deposit which again is different to what is informed. House is a nice house we have been before 2 years ago, however no work has clearly been done in the 2 years . The house is in need of decoration and a coat of paint, more fundamentally is that the cleanliness was appalling. Mould in the bathrooms and dirty showers are easy to fix .

The bathrooms condensated very easily and didn't dry out well- the only fault, which didn't prevent us from having a good time.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a great time. Hot tub was great and we would have used the bbq if it wasn't January and we were there longer! Would definitely recommend. Lovely scenery and beautiful walks nearby.

The fact they rented property out stating there was internet and there wasn't

Hot tub was only bonus as internet didn't work at all and the property know all about the issue before they rented it out to us

The fact that I found out they had double Booked us once I was 3.5 hours from home with no alternative option provided. The staff on the phone are rude and pass aggressive, they seem to just want you off the phone asap. After making several phone calls per day to resolve this, it still took me THREE weeks to receive a refund. I was lied too by staff numerous times over the phone. Quite frankly the service was awful!

Nothing as the company double booked us and failed to contact us about it.

Black mould on ceilings in bathrooms and around bedroom windows, derelict farm building as the view from master bedroom, general disrepair to walls and kitchen floor, hot tub hot but no power to jets, two story house 4ft from cottage and filthy caravan in garden next door so not actually private at all! To add insult to injury the BBQ was padlocked shut so we couldn’t cook as planned. Shockingly oversold

The property was in a poor condition, needs a lot of tlc to bring it up to a standard we thought we were paying for. Needs a good clean, especially the main bath room. It was that bad my wife tried to give it a clean. But we still wouldn't use.

The hot water wasn't hot enough for how I like it. There's a cupboard on back of property that kept blowing open, it bangs quiet loudly and didn't lock. We popped a chair in front of it in the end. Not sure if I miss read something when booking but was contacted after to pay a £150 refundable deposit. May well be I didn't read it properly though.

Spacious property with large garden and beautiful views. Cows and a bull in fields off back garden, and views to some waters from fronts. Log burner was excellent as we had bad weather ( bring your own wood ) . Hot tub was a fancy one! Beds were spotless and very comfy. There's a jacuzzi bath, and the shower in the main bathroom has horizontal and vertical jets.

It took us over two hours and three phone calls to to the company we booked through to find it but they were extremely helpful and friendly and even texted us later on to check we were ok.It definitely needs some sort of signposting

the house next door was close as other comments have said, but it seems that it’s not currently lived in so wasn’t a problem. maybe some bamboo fencing would help that. also the side of the house had incredible views and the sunset was stunning but it’s really under utilised, a patio with the bbq there would be even better in the evenings! also there is a new gate which isn’t quite finished and the dogs could get through it, wasn’t a problem as we blocked it off with a garden chair.

great amenities, beds were really comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect. so much more spacious than it looks! bathroom was exceptional and the hot tub was well maintained. garden space was fab. loads of parking at the front too! sounds daft but the layout meant a great airflow through the house cause we both hate it being hot and stuffy at night, and no rip off charges for the dogs to come along. the garden was enclosed (bar an unfinished gate but that wasn’t a big deal as we blocked it) which helps as a lot of cottages aren’t! the beach nearby at Trearddur was stunning, with proper white sand and crystal clear blue water and a nice bar/cafes. birchwood cottage is a real gem of a place and I’m about to book another trip for September 👍🏼

in need of updating in kitchen, bathroom and needs more electric sockets everywhere. I struggled to find a mirror and a electric socket near each other that I could reach to do my hair.

The jacuzzi was lovely, the enclosed back garden was great for our dog. All the beds were really comfy.
