A mini fridge in the room would be helpful as the weather was very hot when we were there and water bottles got warm quickly.

The property is spacious, with outdoor seating, plenty of car parking spaces and the staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful.

The hotel in general, was tired in places. They need to upgrade their coffee machines, to be able to offer decaf cappuccinos.

Located in the countryside. Facilities, with the pool. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant has been refurbed and was a nice place to eat.

There was nothing to not like.

Very pleasant and efficient staff. The room was very big and ample room for "Stuff"... The room and Hotel was very warm as the June Weather has been somewhat inclement... The Handwash & Bath/Shower was premium and not the usual stuff. Car park was large and seemed quite secure. The 2 Bars served many Beers and my Guinness was just right! I especially liked the Night Security Guy who allowed me out to my Vehicle to get things at 4am! Also the young Lady who let me check out early, due to extraneous sources ...!

The prices of the food seemed a little expensive. We ordered burgers and although they were freshly made they were tough and dry. The Pepsi we ordered with our tea had a very unusual flavour as it was from a pump as opposed to a can or bottle. Otherwise we had a good time. Advice for visitors - there are very little shops nearby for food so stop when you see a supermarket. Morrisons supermarket was about a 15 minute drive away and has a cafe.

We were pleasantly surprised with the stay. Very kind and welcoming staff. They are a credit to your hotel. Using the free swimming pool was nice and you get free towels to use at the pool, so you don’t need to bring yours from home. You can order a drink from the poolside staff to have a nice beverage whilst you swim.

Our room 115 was very noisy throughout the night so I didn’t get much sleep both nights. At first I thought it was noise from other rooms but I think it was a service room to do with the lifts. Also having decaffeinated tea would be good.

There wasn't really anything I picked up in the time I was there.

My late arrival wasn't a problem. A nice room with comfy bed. And water was hot for a nice bath in morning. Cooked Breakfast was a limited offer but nice. And all staff were friendly and helpful. All round a nice one night stay. And if you were going for the golf, it's a very short walk to the course. Nice club shop by looks of it.

The spa facilities really do need an update as they looked very dated.
