You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Executive King room was very clean and spacious had a huge very comfy bed, plenty of tea coffee and biscuits. The bathroom had a large walk in shower even an iron and board. It was worth paying a bit extra for the luxury it provided.

Very average cheap sausages and scrambled egg sat in loads of liquid disgusting! poor continental breakfast packaged cheese. Hardly any pastries which ran out very quickly and not topped up even though over an hour until breakfast ended same with yoghurt. Overall not good value at £14.50

United KingdomI was supposed to get two complimentary breakfasts as a booking.com genius member but when I was checking in hotel had not been passed this information from booking.com. Not the hotels fault. The receptionist said she would get this updated but when I went to breakfast the next morning I was asked to pay. When I explained this was sorted out but could have been avoided with better communication.
Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of hangers in wardrobe. Public areas well maintained and lovely gardens at the front of hotel. Staff all very pleasant. Breakfast was good.

United KingdomNescaffe granules!!! The toilet fan ran too long. No back door to car park - we could almost touch our car, but luggage had to travel 100 m to reception, then 100 m back along the corridor. The latter has 4 sets of 3 steps with no bypass for trolley suutcases. Hair dryer was lukewarm at best. No artificial sweetener for tea/coffee. The groundfloor window only opened a couple of inches, and the whole hotel was stiflingly hot.

One item left me very surprised - macaroni cheese, chips and garlic bread - lemon, lemon and lemon , strange combination! I have arthritis and found the bed much too hard for me to be comfortable . Woke up with pain each morning .
