Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomDeparting room 11am and waiting until 3pm to check-in .4 hours is ludicrous. Luggage spilled out into concourse resulting in signing a disclaimer for responsibility. Need to speed up turnaround.
A very friendly and helpful all round with employees and contractors

SloveniaAt first we were put in a basement room which was dark and really not comfortable. It had a bathroom with exit on the terrace. The windows were very old and damaged and due to that it was very cold in the bathroom. The shower on the other hand had only almost boiling water. It was impossible for a child to take a shower in there. Beside this, the wifi was very poor in the basement. I requested another room at the reception but only got it after 2 days and after speaking to the manager that the photos on my booking are completely different than what we got. Anyway the new room was great, everything was more than fine. If we could get this room at the beginning I would give five star to this hotel. What bothers me is if I stayed quiet we would be stuck in the basement for the complete holiday.
Location - very close to Hyde park and 2 metro stations.

United KingdomStuffy room. No air con. Tried opening window (sash window) but it would not stay up as the cord was non existent. We used a bin to prop it up to get some air in. No good Wifi connection. TV was not working. The shower worked but it was more of a drizzle than a shower. No power.
Good location and great staff. Comfortable beds and clean. Close to tube station.

United KingdomIt's a bit of a maze getting to the rooms, while the lights had sensors, it was still a little dark, the room was unbearable hot, I don't know if because you're in a basement like atmosphere, it tends to generate heat. If you have a lot of bags and you're offered a room in the 50s or 60s area, it will be quite tricky, the bathroom is a tight squeeze, especially if you have long legs.
Location, Location, Location: it was definitely cheap and easy access to Hyde park for a morning run and easy to get to from Euston station. The staff were nice, you get a nice selection of papers in the morning.

United KingdomThe hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. There are many maintenance and decor issue's that require addressing. On arrival we were allocated room 105 on the 1st floor.Do not stay to there. The window has no natural light and opens onto a very loud extract fan for the restaurant downstairs.it is also very hot.We requested a room change immediately and were moved to room 108..This was a great improvement, however the radiator didn't work, but not an issue in our case because it was warm enough without it. Also impossible to use the kettle unless you put it on the floor to plug it in.Also as for the entire hotel the tap water is not suitable for drinking??ok for a short stay and ideal for location.
This hotel is in a great location near Hyde park and bayswater tube station.

NigeriaI wish that complimentary breakfast was part of the services provided by the Hotel.
I liked the Hotel. The staff did their best to ensure that I was comfortable. They also responded, quickly, anytime I made inquiries about anything. I hope to visit the hotel again later in the future, by God's Grace.

United KingdomThe complimentary coffee/tea was very basic, no biscuits or hot chocolate that I tend to expect in hotels.
The staff were very flexible, they allowed me to check-in before my scheduled time. Which was useful for me, as I was in meetings until late in the evening. Reduced Stress.

UkraineThe room I was given was different from the photo while booking on booking.com. In general, I didn’t have any complaints at first, because the room was small, but clean and comfortable. But, as it turned out, the central heating did not work in the room. The staff didn't give me another room, but they gave me an automatic heater. I was upset at first. But then I kept up with it, because the location of the hotel is very good, and, in fact, I only spent the night in the room.
Great location near Hyde Park and two metro stations. There are many cafes and shops nearby. The Oxford street is 30 minutes on foot along Hyde Park. The staff is polite and pleasant. The room was very clean. Cleaning was every day and towels were changed every day. You can make your own tea and coffee in your room. Wifi worked very well. I didn't use the cafe, so I can't rate it.

United KingdomThe hotel felt a little dated and the wall paper was coming off in room 308. The refurbishment it is currently undergoing is definitely needed. Location of Hotel is excellent literally a stones throw from Bayswater tube station.
I don't know the name of the young lady on reception working on 04/03/23 but she was absolutely amazing and delightful considering the hotel seemed to be falling apart around her - the hotel is undergoing some refurbishments which left the TV in our room not working - but the young lady looked into getting us moved to another room with a working TV- she did this as though nothing was a hassle for her and we even managed a little chat while she was sorting us out. I don't know what your paying her but she definitely deserves a pay rise. She was incredible in her professionalism and friendliness and remained calm and approachable at all times. WOW what great service! I would recommend the hotel solely on her customer service. She went above and beyond and all with a smile on her face.

SloveniaThe room was small, and so was the bathroom. We didn't even order breakfast at the hotel. In general, we did not come to spend days in the hotel, so I cannot judge the breakfast and other hotel amenities.
The location of the hotel is the prevailing reason to choose Berjaya Eden hotel. Two underground stations with three different lines are within 5 minute's walk.
