Quite a small room. Very hot and residents garden right outside the window so not ideal. Trip was for my birthday so a bit disappointed. Couldn't fault the staff or food tho.

Been before and had lovely rooms

One of the twin beds in room 25 had a very lumpy matress, the other bed however was very comfortable.

The atmosphere at the pub was lovely and food was great, with a huge selection on the menu to choose from. Room was clean.

The lack of plug sockets, I appreciate it's an old building but I wasn't even sure where I should plug in the kettle that was provided! The shower cubicle is the minimum size it could be, although there was room for a slightly bigger one. It would also could be difficult for those with balance issues, given the step into/down from a slippery shower tray.

The room was a lovely size, but was a little dated. The bed was comfortable and had good duvet & linen.

I personally missed the table service for breakfast, it wasn't clear that you could ask the kitchen for fried or poached eggs as opposed to the rubbery scrambled egg on the hot self service counter. Plus a pot of tea, fresh, would have been prefered to the one made in the hot flask, along with a fresh coffee pot. No hot chocolate or biscuits in the room sadly.

The food portions for our evening meal where very generous and it was very good value, the pies really are award winning. The hotel itself had a lovely creaky old feel to it, and was very welcoming, being 800 years old!

The hotel has a long history and is quirky in a good way. Our room was small but OK. Breakfast was good. Winslow is an interesting town.

Have known the venue many years as lived in the area most of my life but never stayed until now. Had to book last minute. Great value, super little room, fridge, microwave, hob rings, sink, comfy bed. All you want in the room :- ironing board, iron, fan, heater, great central location.

A straightforward pub with rooms. It has an outdoor area to sit an enjoy a drink which is pleasant in early summer! Opposite a very good Indian restaurant.

A map as staff had to show me round the warren within. I realised it was old but did not like opening room door and immediate deep step down.

Hotel was clean and friendly. Full of character. Good info folder in room.

Parking was a bit of a problem it is a very busy village though that has its good side. Decor dated but clean and comfortable. Room quite small and TV stations limited.

Very convenient though parking a bit of an issue as there is no dedicated parking. Accommodation a bit dated but shower was good and room quite comfortable if a bit small. Pub section very busy but room not noisy and the pies really are excellent. Staff helpful TV limited but iPad reception ok.
