You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomRoom could have been a little bigger especially if you stay for a week or two,more storage space would help,traffic noise was noisy but we were able to sleep, didn’t like sink in bedroom, property a bit dated, untidy in areas.

United KingdomNo wardrobe in my single room. No reception when I arrived in late afternoon. A very nice lady, the owner’s wife arrived after some phone calls to let me in and showed me basics. Tight parking for one car.
Good central location. Parking for one car. Good clean room. Warm enough. Very hospitable friendly owner and the breakfast very well laid out , on time and tasted fine. He explained how tv worked, and showed me wifi password on a mirror in my room. Easy to use . I didn’t need anything more really, and would say it was good value. Lower price than most around Elgin. I might use it again in future .

United KingdomYou get what you pay for and for our budget and needs, there is nothing to complain about. Everyone has different needs, and personally I noticed there were no sachets of sweeteners available in the room or at breakfast, but no problem, I carry my own and, like the breakfast, if I had mentioned it, I'm sure they would have been there the next day. I'm sure on reading this, Donald will have it sorted before he reopens in the new year.
Donald was very welcoming despite our late arrival and troubles with roads. He was equally as helpful with travel suggestions on our departure. Breakfast was excellent, Specific dietary requirements were met and the offer to improve, as if that was possible, was offered each day. Parking was just on the opposite side of the road, easy and free
