We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed for 2 nights and our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location was brilliant. 2 minutes walk to the beach, and an amazing restaurant, and a very easy walk to the pier. As a bonus, there was also a breakfast room with toast and selections of cereal in. This was completely unexpected as it a B&B, but a welcome extra either when getting in of a night, or an early morning start!

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the lovely Maria. She’s so friendly and put us at ease straight away. After a nice warm and welcoming chat we went up stairs to number 7. The room was beyond clean and perfect for us. Only a very short walking distance from the beach so was the perfect location to stay in. There is an open kitchen 24/7 which feels very homely. Lots of variety of food, breakfast cereal and toast. We felt very comfortable during our stay and could come and go as we pleased. Overall we would definitely love to return and stay with Maria again. 10/10 homely and welcoming experience.

United KingdomThe only thing vaguely negative we can say is that each room is provided with cleaning liquids in the toilet and these were at floor level. We had to move them out of reach of our grandson who was sharing the family room with us.
Very friendly owner. Spotlessly clean. Do it yourself breakfast was a bit of a surprise but actually worked very well. Well located and there is a long stay car park very close by (was full though). The owner does go out of her way to make your stay relaxing.

The additional use of the dining room and it's supplied facilities being the additional cherry on the top. The only minor drawback; which is out of the hotels control; is the lack/ difficulty in parking; though have always managed it, even though it may require a small walk. Once again thank you, and would highly recommend a stay.

Situated very close to the seafront and near to town centre. The actual building is the same as most other small hotels but what sets it apart is that you can see it has been well looked after and very clean. The host Maria is very friendly and helpful. If I visit the area again, I would definitely stay at Bella Vista hotel.

We liked Everything as this was our first time on holiday with our 14 month old grandson. We were worried about everything but it was perfect. Continental breakfast was ideal with a baby.
