Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDon't understand why 4pm check in. Bar should've been open for guests to use why waiting to check in , this would've been beneficial for the hotel.

United KingdomThe mattress needs replacing, staff make a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning, the bathroom is quite small so got to be extra careful about not injuring oneself and no free WiFi.
Cheap hotel and in a fairly good location (not too far from the city centre).

United KingdomThe room was NOT like I was shown on a picture. There was not even a table but a chair next to my bed. I booked 2 single beds got a bed pushed together with one duvet - for what should have been 2 singles. Bathroom was nothing like in pictures. The green light above the door- which can't be turned off, kept me awake all night!!! The walls are probably made of cardboard and heard a nice couple in the night time getting it on. I was put in a room what seemed like a dungeon - no Internet- unless you want to pay for it - but hey, its not 1923!!! But okay, was gonna use my own on my phone BUT bc of the location of the cupboard, I meant the room, I could not even access that. So yeah, great experience for 120£ a night room!!!
It was in a quiet area near Dean's village and close to the centre

GreeceCleanliness of the room, kind of poor quality of the room/building/, there were not many room facilities, such as safe box, shower gel and shampoo. But it was okay after all, as we were only just sleeping and taking a shower. It was overall a good hotel choice for these busy calendar days, and the cheapest we could find.
Very friendly staff. Easy check in/out procedure. Very good location of the hotel. We were walking to the city center. Dean Village is very close to the hotel as well, we went there walking.

United KingdomThere was no free WiFi in the room, which I think is not acceptable these days. There was a picture just leaning up against the wall. The bathroom was tired. There were no extra blankets and the pillows were thick and lumpy, and I think there was a hole in one of the duvet covers. There was no phone in the room to contact reception nor any sort of information leaflets or folders saying anything about the hotel or the area. There was limited tea and coffee in the room. I don’t drink coffee and soon used the teabags. Sadly when I enquired at the bar if I could have some tea, or hot chocolate or something, the lady said we don’t do any hot drinks. What sort of hotel doesn’t even offer a cup of tea?! These are not points that would take a lot of cost or effort to improve upon.
The shower had plenty of hot water, and the towels were nice and big. The lady on reception was friendly. It was quiet and the bed was reasonably comfortable.

SpainNo WIFI available in the room, you need to pay for it and is not cheap. This is incorrectly indicated in boking webpage! The bathtub curtain had mold, you really don't want to put inside and that touch your skin, awful. The toilet chain was not working well. Really small TV and no channel was working. Only 1 heater in the room, not sufficient to heat the room; You could feel air stream coming from the window, as it was no airtight. The night shift staff very unfriendly: The first night I ask for buy a water (the bar was closing at that moment) and I received a resounding NO; Then, I saw how they closed the blind 3 minutes after that. The second day when I asked for the Wifi and did my compaint about the tv and toilet chain, in the way they answered me, was like if practically it was my fault to have a room with no correct facilities. Also when I needed to ask for another key card because mine was not working, the girld at reception made me show her if was true that was not working, instead of directly check in the system (no customer trust). The full hotel seemed to be moving, there were furniture spread in some parts of the corridors.
The room was big, with bathroom inside with bathtub. Comfortable bed. 3 elevators to access to all floors. When you know how to arrive, is easy from the city center, buy is a bit far away.

United KingdomWe had no sleep at all the breakfast arrangements was self service and exposed to people touching crockery and food so I did not have breakfast . The drunken people ran along our corridor banging on doors , and blocking the lifts until they moved off to another landing. Security needed especially for the young girl who was on the desk , she was very polite having to listen to these complaining drunks.
the staff overworked and having to contend with drunken people running about all night for me the staff were excellent and under stress all the time My room was lovely clean and had very good bathroom with shower .I paid 10 extra for my working support dog a none shedding poodle. The location was perfect as the canal walkway so close was great for walking her.

United KingdomTook 45 minutes to check in, customer service was rubbish and didn't get no apology for the long wait. When we arrived into our hotel room, we discovered that there weren't no fresh toilet paper on the dispenser and I found bits of paint on the mattress that I was sleeping on. Random nails in the wall can breach health and safety to someone. TV hanging off the bracket. This needs improvement.
Like the modern style of the room and the cosiness vibe to it
