On checking in I was told there was a £50 pre authorisation charge for damaged property. I was therefore shocked to find the shower rail damaged, a towel rail that was loose, faulty shower head, chipped doors, and peeling wall paper. I took photos and raised this with John, when checking out. The walls are not sound proofed.

Location was very quiet and easy to get into the city centre.

The buildings we went to to check in was nice but the building we stayed in at Beech Mount Grove Suites - the room had strong damp smell, it was difficult to take a breath initially; the decor was outdated, the bathroom floor had a serious leak, the floor of the bathroom was very soggy and uneven and water kept collecting in the middle of the floor due to the leak, lucky the room on the was ground floor otherwise the floor would’ve given away; the light was very dim; there was very strong damp smell in the room. We checked in very late and were too tired to raise the issue also only staying the night.

Location was good and staff were very helpful over the telephone.

It smelt of cannabis. The exterior was rundown, over grown vegetation , the stairwell was filthy, the shower barely worked, the internet only worked downstairs

These rooms are very basic and the mattress on bed very uncomfortable. Not worth the price we paid.

Rooms were a little small. Would have preferred a cooked buffet as well as cold. Breakfast area was quite dimly lit, i’m assuming because it was on a lower level and the plants were blocking a lot of the light where we were sat. Out room did smell of cigarettes badly.

Everything was okay and very passable. Staff were very friendly. Good location for me.

Tiny bathroom, very old shower which trickled lukewarm water, impossible to wash my long hair. Kitchen facilities handy but constant smell of cooking from it. Double bed comfortable but single bed had springs poking through so I had to sleep on top of the quilt (with a towel as a blanket)

Quite basic and dated but affordable. Very clean. Good quality PG tea and Nescafe coffee. Like that it has plenty of parking available. Quiet area, no passing traffic. Easy check in and check out.

The room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was dust and a plastic bottle by my bed. The bathroom was tiny and actually difficult to manoevur from the toilet.

Badly cleaned, dust and stains on cabinet and tables. Mold by the window and in the shower. Shared kitchen with almost nothing in it, not much in the room. Very thin walls, could hear anything from the room next to me. Room could be mantained better.

was -4/5 when we arrived and all heating was turned off. Room was freezing for over 1 1/2 hours. Radiator leaked a bit in the bathroom. Shower has low pressure Main front door needs a door closure. found it was open at 11pm so not so safe. quite outdated and in need of a refurb

Only one plug socket in the room - too far away to plug TV and kettle in (I moved the kettle but couldn't do anything about the TV). Shower pressure and water volume could have been better. Bathroom door handle fell off as it wasn't screwed in enough - I had to reattach it. I was told the WiFi password but not the name of the WiFi network - I tried a few different networks before it connected.

The room was clean. It was warm (I stayed end of November). The bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the room. Nice quiet road so no outside noise. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Doors very difficult to open. Only two tea bags. Shower gell and hand soap same colour, smell and consistency. Upstairs toilet flush. Tide mark in bathroom light, extract fan didn’t work. All in all rather poor attention to details.

Bed was broken (but usable)and covers stained. Floor wasn't the cleanest. And hallway smelt of damp. Small amounts of black mold in some corners of room.

Showers could do with an update as some didn't work correctly. Rugs in the room were nice if a little dated but also slid way to easily causing potential accident.

Was a good location with good sized comfy beds. Staff that checked us in were very friendly and helpful. Was good value for money and easy to get to town.
