It would be great if the directions to the building were put on the website, as in the entrance door isn’t actually on Derby Street. This isn’t a jibe but we drove around the block a few times. But I called the host and he directed us brilliantly. Thank you.

A return visit to this gem of an apartment , comfortable , unique , great facilities. Fantastic location in the middle of Leek. Free secure parking a bonus in this popular market town . The new 2nd bathroom is lovely and makes it a great venue to visit .

Absolutely beautiful, cosy apartment in the centre of Leek. It's a real hidden gem and the photos don't do it justice of how lovely it is. My favourite parts were the staircase and the Reading room/Games Room. The owners were so helpful, providing useful information before check in and were very responsive to my queries. The apartment is spotless and tastefully decorated too. There is also parking available in a secure car park for 2 cars outside the property. We enjoyed a walk around the Rudyard Lake and a dinner at Primo Piano as recommended by the owners. Such a perfect Easter break.

All was excelllent. Communication was smooth, and parking and check-in were very easy. The flat is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. Beds very comfy. Location is great for all of Leek, and the people in Leek are so welcoming and friendly.

The property was stunning and so spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was everything you could need on site. Parking was right outside and the location was right in the middle of Leek. The owners were fantastic and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They recommend the Lazy Trout for a Sunday roast, which was amazing! We also had a very long walk around Tittesworth Reservoir from the Lazy Trout which was very pretty. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! We would recommend this property and will hopefully be back soon!

Absolutely nothing.

The apartment is stunning - a beautiful old building in the middle of Leek. Everything is finished to a very high standard and the hosts were really helpful. There was even a Christmas tree in the lounge which was just magical. We would highly recommend booking in here and we hope to be back again to explore more of the area!

Lots of stairs you have to be fairly fit to go up and down.

Was a little noisy in terms of pipes/general creaking sounds of an old property (my friend said “the ghost trying to get in woke me up”) but that’s all to be expected with an old building & doesn’t actually take away from the property at all

The stairs were not easy with our bags. But worth it for the aesthetic, and having 2 floors.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of Leek. Super accessible for everything. The downstairs bathroom was to die for! So many lovely small touches throughout the apartment. Felt very homely. The host was very responsive. The only downside is I wish I could live there permanently! We’ll definitely be back.

Very spacious building, all to ourselves, with great (listed) features, but modern touches such as one of the bathrooms . Good location right in town, but quiet. Didn't expect to have such a large building to ourselves.

It was a great location in terms of having everything around you, but just a word of warning that you definitely won't get a quiet/peaceful night on a weekend! It has a pub next to and opposite it, both of which were playing live music and the windows are single glazed meaning it was like you had front row seats until around 11pm and also could hear party go-ers out on the street until the early hours. This is absolutely not the problem of the property and it didn't ruin our stay whatsoever (one of the bands was really good!!) but just thought it was worth noting if you are someone who likes to go to bed early and have everything peaceful then it may not be the place for you.

The property was beautiful, such a stunning apartment. It had everything we needed for a lovely one night stay. The new bathroom is fantastic, make sure you take some bubble bath to make the most of the tub!
