Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe security was lax. The front door was permanently open, seemed no way to close it. Couldn’t find a communal light switch for the back of the first floor besides the one next to the room (3). The remote check in process was laborious, lots of emails. £80 deposit (still not got back yet) was a surprise. Payment didn’t work and lots of rules telling grandma how to suck eggs, though I’m guessing not everyone knows how to behave in rented accommodation. Besides this, I’d probs come back. Oh, it’s a tad over priced too. Forgot about that.
The room, or studio was a good size with a kitchenette. A huge family size fridge freezer, tiny kettle, a microwave and a sink. There was a balcony too. Bed was soft. Furniture was upscalled charity shop utilitarian items from the 40s.

Nicely sized apartment, good position and well cleaned. Beautiful kitchenette and view. The staff answered quickly and were very helpful. Easy check-in. The Parking permit option was really easy and helpful, all in all a very solid option for a stay in Portsmouth!

JerseyAs so often happens the TV was a pain. I really could not get any channels. It was on but just could not get the usual channels such as BBC1, ITV, etc. Got some obscure ones but....
It is based in a great location with lots of restaurant choices and sights within a short walking distance. The outside balcony was what I really liked. Cute shower come toilet room. Perfect for an overnight stay and having your own limited cooking facilities was a bonus.

United KingdomInternet kept dipping in and out room 3, manged to check in but not out, as no staff had to phone to check out, also once home went on Internet to check out, very cold no heater in cupboard as instructed in manual, radiator in bathroom but couldn't turn on, radiator in room just inside door worked but badly placed as heat straight out the door, no mop in bathroom things in cupboards in kitchen above cooker too high, no safety step to reach them making them unusable, kettle too small and lead not long enough, no usb port for charging, wobbly toilet seat on arrival, I feel personal touch of checking a room before guests arrive has gone out the window, personal service disappeared in the old days a handyman would visit and fix any issues whilst you were at your accommodation or when you were out and you would return to issue having been sorted

United KingdomThe room was warm but that was not a reflection of the accommodation. However, there was no key for the patio door which was a slight concern due to there being a fire escape off of the patio. It is not an accommodation for anyone elderly or with a disability as there are only, quite narrow, stairs to climb.
The layout of the studio is good with plenty of room. The facilities were adequate for the stay. The patio was an added bonus as the room was so warm during the heatwave, it was nice to sit outside during the evening.

United KingdomCommunication could have been better. The emails asked to reply above "#", whereas it should have been through the link provided. I had no response to two messages that I sent regarding the light in the bedroom - the night light was so bright that I could read by it and there was no obvious way to turn it off. If this could not be resolved it would prevent me from booking here again as it prevented me from getting a decent sleep.
The facilities within the appartment were in good order and a little different to what I expected. The balcony space was better than I hoped for, and knowing the area I was very pleased as to how quiet and peaceful it was. The detail provided was extensive and covered all issues that were relevant to me. The parking availability was better than I anticipated, and I would suggest that it be made known that the zone restriction covered a wide area and thus there were no problems in parking near the apartment, nor elsewhere in zone MD
