Great location, overlooking river in quiet residential area, but only 15 minute walk from town centre. Good sized studio room with comfy seating area, compact kitchen & patio area with river view. Free parking. Friendly & helpful hosts.

The resturant was advertised but was not open until January 19th which would have been good to know as we had planned to eat there . The only other disapointment was the sound of banging and electric tools being used in the boat shed adjoining the property and the shed at the back of the property every time the electric tools where being used it disrupted the television.

Location was excellent no breakfast was available but this was mentioned . The view of the river.

For my personal taste the accomodation was a little bit too old-fashioned, but I am sure there are plenty of people who would enjoy this style more than me. Also, since we arrived by train we had to walk to and from the accomodation which is situated quite remotely. It is very quiet and nicely located right next to the river, but you have to walk quite a bit.

The location was cosy and quiet, staff was very welcoming.

The Boating Station was in a perfect location for a stay in Bath -just a short , flat stroll into the centre- and the parking was a huge bonus. The owners were kind enough to let us park up early & come back later at check in time which helped us make the most of our holiday time.

The only negative we had were towels a bit hard and the bathroom mat didn't smell that pleasant. I think new towels and mat needed.

A bit of a walk into the town center

Very nice, cozy little cottage, right next to Avon river. Great for family. Enjoyed the sitting room, kitchen and bathroom with all amenities.

Location, right on the river and easy 17 minute walk to Roman baths entrance . On-site parking. Kitchen facilities. large bed. Clean. Comfortable sofa. good value.

The bed size is restricted due to the size of the building so being 6’2” the beds were a little small otherwise everything was great.

Being within 15 minutes from Bath centre and next to the river.

Although not a problem for us there was no cooker or hob and no space heater under the exterior canopy which would have been a great addition for our November visiit

We stayed here during a family holiday and it was perfect. A home away from home complete with some visitors from some friendly furry friends. Highly recommend - quiet area, parking and lots of space to unwind.

Beautiful views, comfortable stay and lovely staff! Felt very welcomed and the lady that welcomed us was super informative and helpful with our stay :) Aswell they have a folder inside your room with nearby activities, information about the site and a lovely list about their pets on-site which was super nice too! Didn’t have the pleasure of going to the restaurant on site but seemed like a lovely atmosphere so would definitely come again as our stay was wonderful!!

bedroom small but very comfortable.

querky and fun. felt as though I was in a heritage property. it was full of history. sitting on the porch and watching boats go by. friendly dogs came to say hello.

All was exceptional

The location is superb, on the river, scenic, peaceful and quiet. It’s stunning. The accommodation is very comfortable and well maintained. Lovely patio area which is undercover and a great spot to relax.

The only aspect that could be improved is a more powerful shower.

Beautiful and quiet location. 20 min easy walk to the centre of Bath. Everything provided that you need for a few days away. Very nicely decorated and comfy bed, sofa etc.

The garden room was excellent with a fantastic view of the river. It was warm and cosy.

Not so much a dislike but a tip for anyone interested in eating at the Bathwick Boatman next to the accommodation during your stay that it is worth booking a table as we found that we couldn’t get in due to a private function and had we checked in advance we could have altered our plans.

Lovely spot by the river, accommodation had everything needed. Walking distance to town. A bonus was the weather was ok so we could sit outside using table and chairs provided. Really nice stay.

A lot of spiders and woodlouse inside the property.

Really comfortable and cosy place to stay. Beautiful view and perfect location to get around Bath and surrounding areas. The hosts were also great.
