We liked everything! James and Rachel are sensational hosts and provided us with the probably best B&B in Scotland. Starting with tea and cake for welcoming us to the great breakfast. Personal recommendations for food and trips were given, as well as die in the salon for a night cap. Thank you!

Beautiful property! Super friendly and helpful hosts. They go above and beyond. The house is very well maintained. Excellent wifi! Breakfast is delicious — especially the lemon cake. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was rich with authentic Scottish architecture and decor. A welcoming caretaker with a witty sense of humor. Couldn’t have been more inviting.

I can’t say enough about Rachael ,James, Margo and Nell(dogs). We loved every second there. Rachael gave us daily directions and suggestions for the days adventures. Her breakfast was amazing. I cannot say enough.

There was not one thing I didn’t like.

The property and home are beautiful. There was a fire burning in the lounge each night and in the dining room each morning. The breakfast was amazing! The host was more than accommodating. She carried our luggage up & allowed us to combine breakfast items when we couldn’t decide on just one. This place would be hard to beat!

Having to leave after just one night.

Rachael was a wonderful welcoming host in her fabulous home. The location is remarkable, all the rooms are beautifully furnished and breakfast was stunning.

I loved that it was homely and welcoming. It was good to be able to use a fully equipped kitchen to be able to prepare an evening meal. A great place to wind down whilst on the go travelling.

The best stay ever, Rachel was such a wonderful host, the house is a charm, with fireplace on and lovely, peaceful atmosphere, delicious breakfast. Very authentic, friendly and lots of animals ( deer, hare, pheasant and of course 🐑) on the estate. highly recommended.

Everything! Rachael, the hostess, was so very welcoming and lovely. The freshly baked cake with tea each day , in front of the fire was special. The whole home was warm, comfy, like a home away from home. We so enjoyed the delicious breakfasts too. The use of the spacious kitchen was great when we ate in. A truly gracious hostess in a beautiful home!

Hardly anything. One may complain about the drive getting there, but Rachel provides a good instruction for the route.

It is a perfect getaway place to stay. Very quiet at this beautiful property. Rachel, the proprietor, shared their locally-distilled single malt whiskey served with lemon cake in front of a fire place. Fun to see the pheasants as we drove in. Don't run over them though, please, as they are cute. You can see some deer on the property as well. They have chickens... The fresh eggs make the best omelet for breakfast. BTW, Rachel is a super nice lady. The whole family was nice. Rachel even shared her tasty lemon cake. Her son showed us their pet lamb and an attentive border collie.

Google could improve its directions! Fortunately Fiona gave us excellent instructions.

The breakfast was excellent, using local produce. There was an "honor bar" with local whiskey and other drinks. It was very quiet and peaceful. Fiona was a wonderful, attentive hostess.
