Excellent location right on Loch Ness. Room was wonderful with a patio overlooking the water and access to the water. One of a kind location. Hosts were so friendly and helpful giving us info about the area. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the lighter options and that it was self serve. Highly recommended.

There is literally nothing to complain about. If I search hard for something trivial, I would say that the hair dryer cord wasn't quite long enough to get me squarely in front of the mirror.

Fiona and John are delightful and accommodating hosts. Our room was large, cheerful, and perfectly appointed. Fiona was very responsive and adapted quickly to our last-minute change of schedule. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Comfortable bedroom with outstanding views onto the Loch; it was great to be able to open the patio doors and walk down to the shore. Breakfast was excellent, delicious home made granola and hosts went out of their way to provide gluten free and vegan choices. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and provide useful maps of the area (with invaluable advice about where to park!). Icing on the cake for me were the alpacas they keep and the trek by the side of the loch - highly recommended. Also definitely worth a visit are the craft shop in Dores run by Fiona, it is packed full of lovely things; and Dores Inn, which also made a much appreciated effort to provide vegan and gluten free choices for dinner and is a lovely place to eat (as is The Mustard Seed in Inverness).

I had a wonderful break at Balachladaich B&B. Lovely big, spotlessly clean accommodation in a wonderful location. Dores itself is beautiful and makes an ideal base for exploring further.

The b&b is set in a perfect location with Loch views. There is a private little beach where you can relax in front of a little beach fire, take in the scenery, or take a dip. The hosts are so welcoming and provided anything you needed, including beach shoes, a fire kit, and plenty of advice on local attractions.

Beautiful location, good sized rooms with a breathtaking view. Exceptionally clean and made to feel welcome by host. A gem of a stay nestled in the iconic landscape of Loch Ness. Truly a welcomed break, inviting in the romance of the highlands and extinguishing the thoughts of the rat race!

John and Fiona were lovely to talk to, really approachable and have made our stay fantastic! The B&B is very clean, we had a great view from our room with balcony and John provided vegan options for breakfast for me!! Will definitely be back!!!

Second time staying, property is spotless and the attention to detail in each room is fantastic. It's in an excellent location right on the loch, so peaceful. We really enjoyed watching all the birds eat at the bird feeder in the morning with a cup of tea. Breakfast option's were plenty and tasty, the homemade granola and the blueberry muffins were an absolute bonus! We will 100% returning
