Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

CanadaA queen mattress is more to our liking. Tub a little high for older guests and tub was slippery getting out of. Rubber mat could help. Heated towel rack was a bonus.
Location was exactly where our interests were. The room was bright and attractive and the facilities were such that we enjoyed breakfast in our room in the morning. Staff worked very hard to accommodate our requests and aided us in getting our taxi to take us to the airport. A recommendation that would have been useful for us would have been information about bus service and subway routes. Buses are a great way to travel within the city.

The staff were exceptional. They all displayed a helpful, friendly and professional manner. The location of the B&B Belgravia was perfect for sightseeing and our theatre trip.

United KingdomMy room (3)was in the basement and there was a lot of noise from floor above and from the toilet next door- a constant electrical noise- had to keep tv on to block the sound. Small breakfast room but it was well managed by staff.
Excellent location for sightseeing- 30 minutes walk to most major attractions of Westminster. Very polite and professional staff with a friendly manner. Good breakfast-,freshly cooked to order and a choice of cereals, fruits and juices. Comfortable bed and good shower. Tea, Coffee and water available at reception room from 7am- 11pm.

United KingdomIt was very warm despite no heating being on. As it was windy, there was litter blowing on the ledge outside the window that woke me a few times. I couldn’t reach it sadly. Also, there was no shower gel so I had to go shopping. I needed a shower on arrival after travelling all day.

United KingdomWe were staying in a separate annex, so we could not use the breakfast room at No. 66. Instead we had a fridge with milk, juice, cereals, etc. in our room. There was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up 2 floors on narrow stairs. There were a couple of small maintainance issues that would have been easy to fix - the blind in the room wasn't working and the bedside lamp was hanging by a wire. Also, the floorboards creak loudly, so if someone in the room above moves around at night you are going to hear them.
Check in was quick and easy, once we had worked out which button to press on which intercom. Mohammed on the desk was very friendly. Bathroom was very nice and the room was a decent size for a London hotel at this price.

United StatesVery tight doorways. I can’t imagine being any bigger in stature and squeezing in the doorway with bigger luggage’s. We are average size people, and we only had carry-ons and backpacks, but it was difficult to get through the door through the hallway into our unit without a little bit of a struggle.
Location and breakfast supply in fridge was great. Milk, cereal, yogurt and the microwave was great to have. Hard to find in Europe (hotels)

United KingdomWe was in room 27 the attic and slept really well until the last evening off our stay and that was because it was rather windy outside and something kept rattling outside the window all night Then the cleaners arrived next door at 8am laughing and joking for a hour And because off our bad nights sleep we wanted longer in our bed 😔 Also on our arrival the remote control didn’t work and the Ariel wire was hanging on by the thread so we went to report the issue with the lady , then we went out for the evening assuming that the remote would be back into our room So we arrived home and no remote for the evening and the Ariel not fixed Morning after we reported it again to a man and he said he would get it fixed and gave us a remote control When we came home the Ariel had been fixed but the remote was still not working properly Theses was are only issues
