I liked EVERYTHING!

The hostess was so welcoming and patient - most helpful with breakfast second to none. Little extras in room such as teapot, coffee maker, ironing board and iron and hair dryer were a bonus. Fridge outsiide bedroom door allowed me to store some food with extra eats and drinks at a ver cheap rate. I would stay at Rafters again.

To be fair, there were bit points to improve on. Slippers in the rooms please and some milk for tea in the room might help as well.

The staff is brilliant and accomodating. The bed is large and confy. The bath is amazing.

The breakfast was spot on. I got up late and wasn't planning on eating but the breakfasty aromas beckoned me to come and eat. Great selection and menu, broad fresh fruit selection, and lovely choice of bread for toast. Comfy bed, decent telly, decent unsuite shower and separate toilet. Host was pleasant and informative. Well deserved 5 star top tier rating. I don't normally bother with reviews but, merit goes where its due.

Excellent stay, the owner was nice, helpful; the property very beautiful, the quality of the furniture & equipment and fabrics was high standards; the deco was tasteful and relaxing; close to Oxford and other places for my work so great in that respect; also used the Redbridge Park and Ride a few miles away to go to Oxford centre for an evening-practical; property set back from main road with parking space and garden. No restaurant in the village but Abingdon town was a couple of miles away with a great choice of pubs and restaurants and plenty of space to park; will definitely recommend and go back

Nothing. There was absolutely nothing that we could fault. It was a home from home.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a good shower. The breakfast choices were great and very well prepared. Sigrid was lovely, and all our needs were catered for.

Everything was fine.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

The most comfortable nights of sleep we have had in any bed away from home. The breakfast was perfect, with person touches and beautifully presented. Nothing was too much trouble. Sigrid,our hostess, was so lovely and attentive. Highly recommend staying there.

The wallpaper in my room... a little dark! Also room was a little on the small side. One wardrobe not enough for a stay of 6 days. But I assume most people do not stay so long, so perhaps not needed usually

Breakfasts were exceptional... where it says "homemade", it truly is homemade... made by our lovely host Sigrid. Sigrid is charming and also very accommodating... I needed to be up and out early every day, including Saturday when breakfast is normally served at 8. But Sigrid kindly made sure there was still breakfast on the table for 7. The decor in the rooms is perhaps not to my taste and maybe just a little "tired", but bathrooms are fab, clean with emphasis on "thinking green" throughout. Very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent stay. The host was very helpful, friendly too. Breakfast was terrific both in how nice it was but also in variety. The room was very clean and well equipped. super shower which was very clean and modern. This B&B would easily rival more expensive hotels!

Loved everything about Rafters! Amazing place. The room was large and comfortable. Bed was fantastic. The common areas in the B&B were always very clean and tidy and nicely laid out, and so we're the grounds. Very nice location too. The attention to detail was exceptional. There is good car parking at the front of the B&B too. Sigrid was really fantastic before and throughout the stay. She was very helpful with questions and info and incredibly polite and hospitable. Both my wife and I are gluten free and Sigrid catered for us both for breakfast. Breakfast by the way was amazing too. Really delicious, plenty of choice and fresh cooked. The location is beautiful. Slightly outside Abingdon and nice and quite. Abingdon is very accessible though as it is a 10 min drive (plenty of parking in Abingdon also). We've stayed in many high end hotels and rafters easily came up to that same quality and in fact in some ways surpassed many of them. It's a place which my wife and I immediately felt relaxed in and so we have already put it down as a place to visit and stay again. Thank you for an amazing stay Sigrid!

There's nothing I didn't like about our booking.

The landlady was so friendly. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were amazing. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We'd highly recommend it.
