We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

LithuaniaOnly thing which can be better - water pressure in a shower. 2 people can not have a shower at the same time. Water stops running in one of them. But this didn't bother us.
Aurora Tor is beautiful, full of crystals, paintings and other small nice things. Kitchen was full of everything needed. We found even bread, eggs and milk for our first breakfast. Host was quickly responding and very friendly. House has a heating, so we enjoyed it. Also there is a small beautiful garden.

United KingdomThere was an issue with next door not gaining access to their property ( owned by the same person ) and it was only then that we realised Booking .com had sent me a different key safe code to the one the cottage owner had sent to my friend when contacted over arrival times , so we might have been in the same position of not being able to get in . ( My friend arrived first and let herself in with the code the owner had sent , but if I had arrived first I would have been locked out as the code sent to me was different )

United KingdomIf I did have to mention anything, it would be the stairs to the top floor being quite steep but as it is an older property this was to be expected.
The location was exactly where we wanted to be and it was easy for everyone to find. The Christmas tree and the decorations made it extra special as it was our annual friend's get together. The feel of the property was warm and homely.

United KingdomNot a criticism of the property but quite a bit of road noise for the front bedrooms so if you are a light sleeper then I would choose the bedroom at the back of the house.
The location was perfect for a short walk into the main town, it was super easy to park the car across the road at Drapers, £10 from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was a welcome basket and milk in the fridge which was nice. The host has thought of everything you could need to make it a home from home, even down to extra blankets across the foot of the beds. Would happily stay here again.

The location is amazing, right off the High Street and just below the Tor. Beds were super comfy and had everything you needed in the house and kitchen with a basket of treats and basics left for us which was much appreciated.

United KingdomNothing could have been done better from the host's perspective - the layout of the house with a downstairs bathroom/toilet, or the top floor loft conversion was a bit of a challenge with my mobility issues, and the traffic noise at peak times was intrusive, but these did not detract from our enjoyment,
A quirky accommodation which more than satisfied our need, everything we needed was provided, including a thoughtful welcome pack of mixed items. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cosy. It was convenient to the town centre, the Tor, and Chalice Well Gardens. It was a bonus for us to meet the owner and to be able to put a face to the name. Thanks you.

United KingdomBe aware that the cottage is on a busy road, so if you are a light sleeper and you are in one of the front bedrooms you may want to use ear plugs.
Great position for both the town and the Tor and Chalice Well. Lovely little basket of provisions and beautiful roses on the table, was a lovely touch. The bedrooms were beautiful and beds comfortable, absolutely loved the crystals. Loads of information available for things to do in the area and books,magazines and games to keep you busy if the weather is bad. Would definitely stay there again.
