Clean and modern house on a quiet street about 15 min walk from the center of St. Andrews. Fully equipped and new kitchen, with wine and beers provided by the host as a very nice welcoming treat. Very cosy living room where we could relax and spend the evenings. The house is even nicer in real life than on the pictures Excellent communication with the host on Booking.com & WhatsApp prior to and during the stay - he responded very quickly to all our questions.

We stayed at Auld Tom's with friends from New Zealand whilst visiting St Andrews and playing golf. The location was ideal just a 10 minute stroll into the town and and a 2 minute drive to supermarkets. The property was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were perfect. The bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. Communications rom the host about our stay were very clear. We had no issues in locating tge property and accessing it. All in all a perfect stay, we will definitely stay again if up in St Andrews and would highly recommend.

House was immaculate, very clean and tidy with everything you could need. Freshly decorated to very high standard. We stayed to attend a wedding at the Fairmont and it is only a 8min drive away so perfect for that and also golf courses round about, walking distance to supermarket and town centre which was perfect. Host was amazing, with loads on hints and tips about local areas and what events are happening and left us a bottle of wine on arrival which was a touch of class. Will be going back

The simple facade belies a superbly and stylishly renovated stay. It was meticulously clean and equiped with everything we could need , even down to seasonings for cooking in the cupboards . Great decor and lovely landscaped back yard and pavilion .

Not much to say about what we didn’t like. The owner even drove us to our hotel after our stay was finished. Very nice man with a very kind and pleasant attitude. He wanted to make sure we had everything we needed which we did!

We loved this property!! The beds were so comfortable and even had a washer we could wash our clothes during our stay. Provided creamer for coffee which was perfect in the morning. We would stay here again!

The fridge was quite small for maximum occupancy, but with a supermarket close by, this wasn’t an issue for us. TV has access to extra networks such as Netflix, but you need your own subscription.

Loved the decor, comfortable beds, cosy kitchen diner, welcome gifts, supermarket 5 min walk away, shower, helpful and responsive host and delightful lounge.

Everything was perfect. I would come back again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully decorated house. We really appreciated that Garry the host had put the heating on, that the place smelt heavenly with scented diffusers in the different rooms, and that he had provided complementary drinks for our arrival. What more could you ask for. The house has everything you need and was so cosy. This was the absolute perfect spot for our golfing trip. It was located very close to the town and golf courses and there were supermarkets just around the corner from the house. The area itself was nice and quiet. Garry, the host was always available to answer any questions. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a little gem. A really great find.

Nothing, this is the perfect property.

This was the perfect property for my friends and I for a golfing trip to St Andrew’s. Everything was excellent from the cleanliness and the quality and just a short walk in to town and all it has to offer, and little touches like a stocked coffee machine and a movement sensor landing light for night time safety without waking up each other. The host was great as well.

This was an amazing stay. The townhouse was newly updated and beautiful. Everything was very comfortable and our host, Garry, thought of everything. The kitchen was fantastic! Also, the house was so close to the bus line, which made sightseeing so easy.

In a perfect world, parking at the property but as parking was directly opposite this was no big deal.

Host was approachable and friendly; the property was delightfully furnished and extremely comfortable and clean. At first, we weren't sure about the location but it was ideal - good shops nearby, not far from the main town but far enough! Reasonable parking and very clear instructions for all appliances etc.

The house was exquisite. Very comfortable and finished to a very high standard. The cleanliness of every room in the house was excellent including all bed linen & towels. The house has everything you would need including a spacious back garden with a beautiful decked area with table & chairs. A great space to relax with a cuppa in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The property is a 15 min was from the centre of St Andrews we enjoyed the walk every day. There is a bus stop outside the door with a regular bus service. Honestly can’t fault this lovely property and will certainly be booking it again.

Auld Tom's Rest is the perfect place to stay when visiting St Andrew's. It's the perfect location within walking distance to the town. The property was incredibly clean and comfortable. Garry was really helpful with advice on how to get to the property from the train station and the snacks on arrival were very welcomed too! The Wi-fi was also great which was very helpful as I was working from the property during the day. Thanks for a great stay!

It may be good to hear up the house on the day of arrival, it was still a bit chilly for a few hours.

Great communication with the host before and during the stay. A very large and comfortable house, all we needed within easy walking distance of St Andrews. When I called Gary re the heating, he immediately upped it from a distance much appreciated. The house was very comfortable and had obviously been done up recently. I would happily rent again.
