Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent apartment and super host. Very good and quiet location, with easy parking and everything we needed in the accommodation. Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family, and we plan to stay again - far more homely and comfortable than a hotel stay.

United KingdomThe £50.00 for post visit cleaning should be included in the overall price, and the email at the end of the visit, although politely worded , I found rather insulting.
The views from every window were wonderful, because we were on the second floor you can see over the houses to the Clyde and the hills behind. The kitchen was very well equipped , and the bathroom had a full bath with overhead shower. A nice touch was the addition of milk, tea ,coffee and a bottle of "bubbly "in the fridge.

United Kingdomthe mattress in the smaller bedroom dipped severely in the middle and appears old, so my husband and I kept rolling into the middle of the bed which caused some discomfort during the night. this is literally the only thing we would say that needs changed because the property all in all is fantastic
spacious, family friendly, spotlessly clean, internet great, good parking, really hospitable hosts, quiet, stones throw to the beach and Kidston Park which was great for the kids.

It was wonderful to find a host who understands exactly what guests are looking for. A clean, well presented and comfortable apartment. Everything was perfect. it’s unusual to find a comfortable sofa in a lot of air bnbs. Here, we found one. It was lovely to sit and watch tv of an evening. We were met by a lovely welcome card, and fun gifts. Penny contacted us immediately to ensure we were happy. Both the kitchen and bathroom were very modern and immaculate. Cooking equipment and supplies immaculately presented. Well done to this host.
