Fantastic property in a great location. Huge apartment that’s been very tastefully decorated and was spotless. We stayed in the garden apartment which had a kitchen which is a real bonus if you’re staying for a few nights plus there’s a large outside patio - a great place to unwind. It’s very close to the centre of Buxton but situated on a very quiet road so you get a good nights sleep.

Bit of confusion over breakfast. Use of kitchen stocked with bread milk and cerial but the feel for the property compensated for that

The room was georgous... The wife is still going on about the en-suit... Worthy of a show on 4 in the bed.... Spotless . Love the Victorian feel throughout the house

Our host was friendly, very welcoming, and left us much appreciated provisions. The unit was spacious, very clean, and well decorated. It was very conveniently located and there was parking for our vehicle.

Beautiful building. Fabulous decor inside. So quiet, yet just a short stroll to the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. Everything was supplied in the kitchen that you would need to make your own breakfast. Thank you very much.

Breakfast was a bonus because it is advertised as self catering. We enjoyed a very generous continental breakfast which was supplied free of charge in the most exquisite dining room that we had to ourselves.

Although breakfast wasn't included, there were complimentary croissants, bread, jams, cereal, juice etc, and a small fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation itself was probably the best we have ever stayed at, and an absolute credit to the hosts, refurbished in keeping with it's history, and with a view to Solomon's Temple from our bedroom. Marvellous !

I would get rid of the shezlong as it served little purpose apart from the looks and replace it with Next Sherlock wingback chairs. Much more useful.

The presentation of the accommodation was so well thought out and the attention to detail was very good. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the feel of the place.

Wonderful place to stay. Easy access to what Buxton has to offer. Out of the immediate centre but a close pleasant walk. Parking close by is a god send. Fantastic guest extras left, fruit and flowers making it a really special place to be with everything one needed for a weekend. Managed a sit out on the patio area which would have been marvellous but for the four seasons in one day weather that Buxton can deliver 😀. Great option for summer breaks. Really good to know there are extra rooms too. Host was delightful - went the extra mile Hope to be back Thanks.

Warm, super friendly welcome, absolutely stunning hotel, with beautiful room and ensuite bathroom. Hugely appreciated the complimentary selection of plant milks and basics provided for us in the kitchen. Overall a really lovely place to stay and close to the town centre too.

The house interior is an impressive Victorian period property with comfortable leather settees and chairs, the dining room with large table and chairs is impressive, with similar style large bedroom with recently restored on-suit bathroom, the modern style kitchen had everything available for a comfortable stay. Bread, milk, orange juice, croissants, many flavours of tea and coffee and bowl of mixed fruit was included for breakfast.
