Lots of noise from people moving around at all hours of the night above my room. No cooling/heating which was not a problem during my stay but I can see it would be with different weather.

The setting is wonderful - right in the heart of the town - the decor is bohemian, original, thought through with cosy welcoming bedrooms, a stylish restaurant and a great new patio and bar out the back. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic and I felt incredibly welcome as a solo traveller. I hope I can steal myself to stay there again. I had a fabulous time.

I guess the lack of parking might be something to consider but both times I’ve stayed I have found street parking within 50 yards, and as a back up there is a car park further down the hill plus parking along the seafront. I can safely say none of this would stop me staying here.

The room was exactly what I needed for my short stay. Would highly recommend. The radio in the room was a nice touch. I have stayed before, and would again. This time I didn’t need dinner or breakfast, but in the past they have been great.

Nothing we didn’t like as such but just to say we noted the large outdoor space was being set up for summer so not a place to go and smokers took up in the small terrace area so we moved as wev are very definite non smokers. Room around bed very tight. No leg room if seated in arm chair.

I liked the artwork and the decor of the inn. It was very convenient to have a lounge for an early breakfast or evening dinner/drink. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was great with a heated towel holder and rainfall shower. I also loved the natural lotions and soaps that were free. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Wonderfully quaint with great beds and fluffy towels. kitchen good lots of tea milk and coffee bathroom great, wash and shower gel etc. Bath and shower. Nice and warm and a wood burner.

Our room was ground floor and smelt a bit damp though decor was stunning and lots of beautiful features. We ate in at the restaurant but we were both disappointed with the meal we received. Price did not reflect the food for both portion or presentation. It seemed that vegan options were vastly different as a result and seemed little care was given when comparing to meat or fish options presented.

We love artist in residence hotels and have stayed at most of them now. Wonderful locations and the Penzance one was particularly well located in the nicest part of the town with lovely artisan shops, coffee houses and bars. Lovely staff and lovely decor.

A really lovely room that made the most of its space, the vibe was stylish yet relaxed with three beautiful windows. I had dinner and a cocktail in the garden and breakfast the next morning, all delicious. The location on Chapel Street is perfect, it's the prettiest street in town, and a stone's throw from the seafront. Front desk was incredibly helpful when I made a date mixup on my initial booking. Also super-close to the Abbey Slip natural swimming pool for a wonderful dip.

We were unfortunate to have stayed during their wifi is down, our room is on the 3rd floor and wifi wasn’t working unless you are at the ground floor. The staff at breakfast wasn’t so friendly and unattentive and the food took quite sometime to arrive, there were only 3-4 tables at that time

The cozy room and design, the shower is very nice with Bramley toiletry products. The dinner we had at the restaurant is quite nice

The day curtains were filthy, and shud be cleaned/changed. Noise from the traffic since our room was facing the road.

Everything! The hotel is simply amazing, warm friendly staff, the room is beautifully and individually decorated, air con bathrobes ,slippers and a super ammentiy kit, such a comforting place. The bar is gorgeous they even had the log fire going which was such a treat on a slightly chilly evening. Great food and local beers so happy to have found this haven.
