Beautiful property in great location within walking distance of the city centre. Rooms are very clean and there is plenty of communal space and appliances for use in the kitchen.

Of course the style and the furnishing! We were warmly welcomed by Emmet who showed and explained us everything, including some restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was outstanding!

Be aware this property is at the top of a VERY steep hill. If you are out and about just get a taxi back though.

Stunning house, the decor is beautiful, love the fact it has fitted kitchen and dining room so you can cater yourselves if you feel like it. It's more like staying in a house than a hotel, you have to go to a different premises just down the hill if you want a sit down breakfast, but the breakfast was amazing. And you also have the choice of a more paired down breakfast in your room if you want. Staff very friendly and helpful.

As it's like a little offshoot of the Lawrence Rooms, there isn't necessarily staff on site at all times and breakfast is in the main hotel a little down the road. Not a problem for us at all but just for information.

This place is just full of beauty. Beautiful furniture, beautiful design and beautiful art. We loved it.

I requested a blanket or lighter duvet as the room was very warm and the property could not facilitate it at the time.

Decor was fab and communal spaces. Access to tea and coffee making facilities and full use of kitchen, dining spaces and drawing room. Location amazing walking distance to everything. Derry and its people are very friendly and welcoming. I will be back.

Room 4 maybe I didn’t check the size of the bedroom and the bathroom down a few steps didn’t really work for us .Not much space and nowhere to comfortably put on my make up either .

Amazing so beautifully well done kitchen facilities fresh milk every day .So close to everything just a short walk to the centre .Cleanliness top notch and the lady who came in every morning was so helpful and friendly.

Room 4 was on the smaller side

Greeted by the lovely Colin and Emmett at the Lawrence house (property next door). They had the fire lit in the lounge, had welcome drinks ready for us and they were very happy to tell us about the history of the building. The decor is stunning at the Lawrence and quirky at the Art house. Facilities are great! You can make your own breakfast/dinner in the kitchen if you wish but they serve an amazing breakfast for £12.5. Porridge is unbelievable, followed by a fry or eggs Benedict - they offer all this gluten free if needed. Excellent value for money! Orla (I think) served us both mornings and the second morning she made the best eggs Benedict I ever had! I’ll definitely be back. We felt welcomed, excellent hosts!!

The Art house was beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again

Had I known in advance that Room 4 has a separate private bathroom down the hall, I would’ve requested for a room with attached bathroom. It’s a bit uncomfortable going out of your room in a dressing gown. Hehe.

It’s cosy and quaint. Patricia, Colin, and Caroline (at The Lawrence) are so friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Such friendly staff. And the location is nice.
