Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOnly offered a bar of soap. No lotion, no cap, no a-tip. But-Shower had shampoo and conditioner. Hair dryer heat element was shot and I got it replaced. First morning hot breakfast was luke warm in steamers. Coffee was not great- machine. Bottled water £4.50–each- seemed steep Uber trips from/to airport were £28.00-£12.00.
Top floor was quiet for me.

New ZealandOrdered room service for breakfast I was told it was 12 pounds and that I could pay cash when it was delivered as I paid for my room in advanced. When it was delivered (toast very cold) I was told it would be 17 pounds and I had to pay in the restaurant.
Very handy from terminal two. Lovely and attentive staff. Quiet room

United KingdomAfter a twelve hour flight and travelling alone with quite cumbersome luggage I wanted to be picked up from the airport. I'd booked the Hyatt hotel because the amenities stated transport from the airport. I was expecting a taxi or hotel minibus but in fact it was either a public transport bus or a Hotel Hopper which had been reduced to one an hour and I narrowly missed one because I was looking for the pick up stop, which wasn't clearly indicated. Being on my own and dragging my luggage around was very difficult. So the transfer information on the hotel website is very misleading.
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable room and bed. It looked like a newly fitted bathroom with lots of towels and nice quality toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Because of a noon check out I was able take my time to relax and enjoy it.

United KingdomWhen we arrived exhausted from a flight from Singapore, there was initially no help to transfer our luggage from the taxi to our room. Someone turned up to help just when we were finishing (and took the trolley back: thank you!) On the other hand, it was really helpful that large trolleys were available without fuss for us to move our stuff. We had difficulties in the bathroom. I found myself unable to get out of the bath at one point, needing the help of my wife to extract myself. The bar to lever oneself out is placed at the worst possible angle and of no use whatsoever. Once water from the bath had splashed on the floor, it became lethal.
All we wanted to do was crash: the hotel let us do that. The checkout time was the very civilised 12 noon. This is why we chose this hotel. Other reasons were secondary. The late checkout time enabled our son time to come to pick us up and take us home. The room was quiet and provided all we needed. The bed was large, comfortable and provided the sleep we desperately needed. We made ourselves tea and coffee without difficulty, and ate supplies we had usefully purchased at M and S at the airport!

United KingdomCost of shuttle bus
The bedroom was excellent lovely mattress and very well fitted out and the staff were very helpful. We had a restful night after a long flight we are very happy with our stay. The only issue is the price of the shuttle bus this should be looked at as we paid one pound more to use a taxi, but overall a very nice hotel.

United StatesTransport to and from the hotel took a little figuring out. There is a Hotel Hopper bus but they stop at every hotel and the local buses were hard to figure out. I think the best bet to and from the airport is Uber. The Hotel restaurant was pretty expensive.

United KingdomWifi was pretty slow a lot of the time. The meal in the bar was pretty mediocre sadly.
The check-in staff were fantastic and the hotel was very clean. My room was comfortable and had a great view of the runway. I had to check out in a rush and it went very smoothly, with the staff ordering me a taxi very quickly.

United KingdomOnly problem this time was that I just stepped out the shower and wanted to go straight to sleep but forgot my toothpaste so called to get some delivered to my room and they told me to come down to reception. So I had to put my day clothes on just to get some toothpaste. I found that slightly irritating. Especially because I asked twice if it could be delivered. But, to be very fair, they seemed short-staffed that day, so it may have been because of that. Not great for service quality though.
Stayed here before and same standard so same review really: Room - well-sized, clean, lights well placed for ambiance, very stylish Bed - large, comfortable, clean; I was out like a light! Facilities - gym was nicely sized and had dumbbells that went up to 10kg, and a bar with weights (didn't check how much) Bar - although I didn't use it, it looked nice and seemed well stocked Room service - quick and cordial Tea station - the room had a kettle and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk

United KingdomCleaning. Not working hair dryer. Never take the shuttle(HB5) to the airport, which goes all around the hotels nearby and takes 50min to the airport when it only takes 10min by a local bus. I don't know why the shuttle costs £6.50 when the local bus is less than £2.00.
Very close to the airport. Right in front of the bus stop. There aren't any amenities like tooth brush or slippers, even no water.
