In a word everything. The house is beautiful and set in gorgeous grounds. The room was fabulous and Beth and John were exceptional hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts would do justice to a world class hotel.

This is the only reason for a "9" Bringing my luggage up and down stairs. However the place was so beautiful I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place in the country. Perfect location to where my friend lives in Scotland. She made the best shortbread cookies I've ever had in my life. And the fudge was good too.

Nothing everything was perfect, no complaint’s whatsoever. Would recommend anyone to stay here great location lovely surroundings Linlithgow is central for both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

John and Beth were welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They had great knowledge of the area and places of interest. The room was spacious clean and extremely comfortable, the little touches of home made fudge and shortbread were very thoughtful. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice all cooked from fresh and beautifully presented the freshly baked goods for us to takeaway for later was so thoughtful. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location in the country near Edinburgh's airport and park and ride. Breakfast was home made and absolutely delicious. The local town Linlithgow is full of history, coffee and tea shops as well as crafts. Plenty of pubs and restaurants.

Beth and John were absolutely fantastic hosts and have a beautiful location. Quiet, peaceful and checked every box we could think of. We were in the area for a wedding and my wife’s hair straightener didn’t work even with an adapter. Beth came to the rescue with a straightener my wife was able to use. Just absolutely top notch.

The hotel was perfect. John is a lovely host and we were made to feel welcome immediately. The room was beautiful with lots of little extras, attention to detail and everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. It's one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

We wouldn’t change a thing.

This bed and breakfast was a dream. The service, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere are unmatched. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit( within 30 minutes). We will definitely come back if we are ever back in Scotland. Thank you again!

We stayed for one day before flying out the next afternoon. It was the perfect location. Close to airport but also close to sites we could enjoy for our last day of vacation. Breakfast was outstanding and the hosts were so friendly. Great experience.
