Comfort, decor, equipment, facilities, situation. Welcoming Staff, great shop to purchase ready made meals from the Estate. Complimentary entry into Harewood House and Estate. Our second visit and still the best place we have stayed.

The estate road in front of the cottage is supposed to be 10mph. During the times when staff that work on the estate are travelling to and from work, the road gets a little busier. They don’t adhere to the speed limit and it does spoil the peace at those times of day. However this is only twice a day for a shortish time and it would not stop me booking again because the cottage is excellent.

Peaceful location most of the time, well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage. Plus a lovely garden to relax in.

This was an exceptional stay from A to Z. The cottage with its decoration and furnishing, the little garden perfect for the dog. The support and service of the staff, the friendlyness and the secure environment. Harewood House and its facilities, the garden and the landscape invited to walks and sojourn.

Struggled a bit with the WiFi and were disappointed not to be able to access the grounds more as Harewood House was closed.

The setting, quietness, facilities in the cottage, provision of some staples, efficient heating, roomy bathroom. Numerous other good touches. Beautiful estate, plenty of deer, red kites and owls.

Probably the most comfortable and well equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. The staff were amazing. Always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. An issue with electric car charging was sorted out quickly for us.

Nothing we didn't like . Just be aware that Carr Cottage is located up the bridleway and various gates. It worked for us as easy for dog walks but a few people walking on the bridleway give you funny looks for being in a car when you enter and exit.

Everything! Huge garden at Carr Cottage and such cosy cottage with high quality furniture. Lovely welcome hamper. Felicity who is the hospitality manager is really helpful and nothing is a problem. Great service.

There was no space in the cupboards for storing groceries.

Being on the Harewood estate and having access to Harewood House on the very last day it was open before closing for the season. The cottage itself was immaculate, stylishly decorated yet understated and warm in the autumnal weather.

There is absolutely nothing that that could have improved the stay.

The cottage was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. It was tastefully decorated, with all of our needs met. The log burner was gorgeous and the beds...they were fabulous. We spent hours exploring the grounds admiring the stags, wildlife, plants and scenery. The gardens were gorgeous and the kitchen garden behind the cottages was such a special touch. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Quiet, well situated position, pretty garden to sit in, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Nice touches of 'Welcome' hamper and free logs and barbeque. Delicious homemade food bought from Estate shop. Helpful, pleasant staff.
