Loved the whole place: the situation, the house and plants, the room and the exceptional bathroom! Gil is a fab host. She couldn't have been nicer. We are all booked for next year too!

The velux could do with a blind as was awake at 4am with light coming through. That was the only fault.

Was a nice place to stay. Beds very comfortable and rooms nice and clean.

My only thing would be if you suffer with hayfever the house is full of plants. I mean FULL plus the skylight lets a lot of light in early hours.

The shower stopped working when I was in the middle of using it, so I had to rinse shampoo from my head by putting my head in the basin - really, it was too small for such a purpose.

I provided my own breakfast.

Lack of a wardrobe, but apparently this is going to be rectified. Television works but no outside signal, only works via phone Bluetooth.

Quiet location, good facilities, very clean and comfortable.

No fridge… the outside seating area could have been a little more looked after.

The views were amazing… the bath was awesome. Really comfy bed!

Nothing I didn’t like about the property

Welcoming, lovely views of the orchard and all the plants inside. Superior room was amazing, decorated with such detail, big comfy bed, good shower and amazing double bath tub!

Lovely host Gil was very knowledgeable about the history of the property and surrounding orchards. Beautiful room . Bathroom was fab. Could do with a clothesrail.

I didn't receive the email with all the information on how to find the property, the entry codes and photographs to assist in finding the property until the day I got home as a result I really struggled to find the property and had to drive somewhere to connect to wifi in order to download the Booking.com app before I could get to a phone number to contact the owner and ask for help. I couldn't do this just via the internet it had to be through the app. The room was very clean but there were several cobwebs which need removing from skylight and beams (I hate spiders) The owner keeps a number of amphibians and reptiles in tanks in a large living area near to the bedrooms. I do not have a problem with this but was startled and unnerved by their calls in the night - I was't expecting this and it took me a while to fathom out what the screeching cries were! (Ghekos I think). A warning would have been appreciated.

Location was great as a stop off on the way to Snettisham. Very convenient for A47 but no road noise. Room and ensuite very comfortable, beautifully decorated and clean. Owner was very helpful and friendly, coming to the road to guide me to the property which I couldn't find in the dark, explaining the entry system and codes and showing me to my room and showing me where to park.

Limited parking space which could’ve been a problem had more guests been staying there. Slightly quirky full of plants & a fair number of insect tanks in main living space (not an issue for me but might put some people off

The only problem we had was the wi fi could be rather unstable at times. There was no hot water at one point but the owner responded to us very quickly and sorted the problem. And explained there was a problem with a burst pipe in town so was affecting the property. One of them things that couldn't be helped but the owner was so helpful and responded so quickly.

The room was beautiful including the massive double bath. Very clean and great decor.

There was nothing not to like about the property, the other guests were causing issues which lead to sleepless night eventually but this had nothing to do with the accommodation or the owners.

The house was absolute dream come true for plant and comfort lovers, amazing getaway on work trip, already booked my next work trip at this location. Grocery stores within 10 minutes drive also, location is stunning.

Unable to control the heating in the room.

Nicely decorated room, with everything as described. Very comfortable bed, with a snuggly duvet.
