Lovely people working, the check in process was amazing, front desk staff especially Irene (Duty manager) made it perfect. We had complimentary drinks upon arrival since we were having anniversary. Staff were so polite and helpful. Room was very clean, the location is good as well, 5 mins from train station, although the works are going (new reception is being built) it didn’t disturb us at all, loved spa and pool. Had a dinner in a restaurant, the food was soooo good and service is outstanding, the F&B assistant Mayada is very friendly and caring. Overall is good and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and would love to be back. Thank you!

Great location near to the train station. The spa and swimming pool were lovely. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Would definitely visit again. We received complimentary upgrade as it was a special occasion

Location, facilities and staff with Faye and her colleague on the last day of out stay. Professional yet funny they both are a credit to any team they are part of and deliver exceptional quality customer service! To add the tall red headed lady who tidied our room was professional and friendly. All the other staff I bumped into again were polite and friendly. The room was clean and quiet even in a central location

Unfortunately it is being refurbished therefore some disruption when checking in during this stay. Hotel could do with more staff at reception area particularly during this refurbishment.

Bathroom with no enclosed shower so whole bathroom floor gets soaked & 1 rather small & inadequate bath mat. Floor remains wet so you paddle to go to the loo in the night - bad design

Required an early dinner and the system was not easy to book. Used Table Table online much easier. However explained to staff before eating and gave room number and also booked Breakfast. During my theatre visit l received a phone call asking me to return to the hotel to pay for the meal.

Position is handy, especially for the Playhouse Theatre.

The only down side of this hotel is the bed. The bed needs to be changed. The same goes with the pillow.

It was an amazing stay. Comfortable. Clean, and safe. Mayadah our waitress in the restaurant she was amazing and funny. The same goes with the rest of the employees in the hotel. They tried their best to accommodate us and made us comfortable as best as they can.

Location was great. Close to Waverly train station, and centre. We could easily walk to major tourist attractions including Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile area. The breakfast options we good too.

We ate In the restaurant one evening and we were dissapointed. Also didn’t like whilst eating people just walking through from being outside the hotel or venturing out.

It was a beautiful building and felt like a really special place to stay.

The bed was a bit hard and pillows weren’t great but room was lovely otherwise.

The little extras were a lovely touch. Our bags didn’t arrive in Edinburgh and they provided us with toothpaste and toothbrushes. They also had umbrellas which was great.
