Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery difficult to find access door to property (tip - its the white door and the key box is the one marked 3), two flights of stairs, daytime parking only 30 minutes then no return for an hour (8;00am to 6:00 pm).
Clean, tidy, free tea/coffee/sugar/milk/even a few biccies, near to facilities (shops, restaurants, etc.), railway links to e.g. Leeds, parking overnight for free right outside.

United KingdomNo hairdryer. Poor sleep quality due to thin curtains in bedroom letting too much light in and noise from the street.
Very convenient location for bars, restaurants, shops and the Worth Valley railway which we had a great day out on. Well equipped kitchen and nice decor. Timothy Taylor's on the Green very close by which was the nicest pub we went in. There are 36 stairs to climb up to the apartment. No problem to us but could be for anyone with mobility issues.

United KingdomOnly one thing I could think is when you arrive at the property it wasn't obvious at first where the apartment is as it is called Grace house but doesn't seem to be a sign on the front for anyone visiting as you arrive in church street it is on your right with a white door and has different numbers on the wall depending on which apartment you are staying in
Loved the fact that it was ideally located near all the amenities there is a massive Morrisons a 5 minute walk away round the corner plenty of pubs and restaurants with lots of character right on your doorstep but despite this it was reasonably quiet for a weekend main part of the town was walking distance just up the street if you want a drive out of town Skipton is easily commutable a 15 minute drive away would stay again

United KingdomNeeds a bit of TLC, wardrobe needs fixing and holes in bathroom walls (from where a bathroom rail was?). There was a dirty multicoloured towel in the bathroom. Struggled to find the place "Grace house" wasn't apparent, could do with specifying which building it actually is or even the building number.
Clean and bright. Neutral decor.

United KingdomLocation in Keighley Town Centre was a little ropey with some unsavoury characters hanging around, however this did not effect us once inside as we were 3 floors up so didn’t hear too much. Sash windows meant that we were unable to have to windows open safely and it was a hot weekend so a fan would have been a nice touch or safety catches of some kind on the windows. We managed to get parked behind the shops/ apartments, however somebody hit our car, smashing our rear tail light overnight which was disappointing so I would strongly recommend finding alternative parking which with a small child and luggage wouldn’t make life easy. However the apartment had all we needed and we did enjoy our stay and two nights was very reasonable.
The property was spotlessly clean, pretty quiet due to being on the 3rd floor, very comfortable bed, spacious (enough room in the bedroom for a travel cot) coffee/tea provided, Netflix, amazing shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided as well as towels and bedding. 3 flights of steep stairs would make this unsuitable for anybody disabled or elderly and was a little tricky with a toddler but not too bad.
