Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Everything very clean comfortable beds nothing was to much trouble for Paul and Nicky If your a big eater Nicky’s WOW breakfasts. Paul is a laugh a minute and can get the shyest Child laughing and talking within seconds.

We had previously stayed at Anchor House and the owners remembered us.... So friendly nothing was too much trouble... we got a chinese take away and they set us up a table in the restaurant and warmed the plates for us. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

United KingdomNicola and Paul are wonderful hosts; they are so very friendly and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are always spotlessly clean; the beds are comfortable (which is always my worry) and the bedding always feels and smells fresh. The breakfasts are marvellous with an excellent choice which Nicola will happily 'tweak' to your requirements should you need it. We have stayed here several times and will continue to return here again and again! Fabulous!!!!!

United KingdomIt could do perhaps with a fan in the room. It was very warm and the window open meant that it was quite noisy with the road outside. But this absolutely didn’t ruin our stay. Just a minor detail.
It was a lovely, personal welcome from Paul, the room was nicely done and it was very clean. We felt welcome and comfortable to ask if we had any queries.

The owners were fantastic - great sense of humour and very accommodating. I stayed for one night because of attending a wedding close by. The next morning I needed to set off too early for breakfast. I was offered the possibility of bacon and egg sandwiches to take on the road with me to ensure I ate something, which I appreciated and enjoyed! The room had everything I needed (and more), was super clean and the bed was one of the most comfy beds I've slept in for some years.

Very good hospitality. The place is clean and smart with many little extras. The owners do a good job of looking after the visitors, which comes naturally which is nice. The all round service was top notch and breakfast was superb.
