Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdom-> Shower was really small. -> As lovely as the Fell Rooms are I do think they are slightly pricey. -> Parking (in car park just behind Fell Rooms) is very expensive so be aware.
The room & hotel itself is spotless and modern. Staff member who checked us in was lovely and very informative. Big flat screen TV in room was great and bed was super comfy which made for a great night sleep. View from window was pretty nice too (we were on top floor). Kettle, coffee, tea, water, etc.. included in room too which is a nice touch. Location is absolutely fantastic. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Ambleside!

Room was tastefully decorated and furnished. The bathroom was like new and cleaned each day. The key operating front door and room was convenient. Staff in te sister hotel next door were very helpful. Parking at the back of the rooms was NCP but if you pay between 8 and 9 am it is just £1 all day.

An absolute brilliant location with public parking (Lake Road Car Park) just next to the room; which was visible from the bedroom. Very clean and up to date rooms, with tea, coffee, milk and water replenished every day. Our dog felt very at home with little touches including a dog bowl and treats. The room was very spacious allowing us to put his cage up with plenty of space still available. We were also only a 10 minutes walk away from Stock Ghyll Force and a 10 minute car ride away from walks including Rydal Caves and Elterwaters. We can’t wait to visit again soon.
