Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe shower soap and shampoo dispensers didn’t have lids so it wasn’t possible to dispense the liquids. Had to just put your hand in the top and scoop some out which causes unnecessary waste.

United KingdomThe Sofa bed isn't sutable for anyone bigger than a child really, the mattress is quite thin and you can feel the metal frame below. The breakfast table is tiny and you can just about sit 3 people round it, but only if you block the kitchen door. You have to creap around as the floor makes a lot of noise, walls paper thin so you hear neigbours. No issues with excess noise from neighbours, but you can hear every word being spoken etc. The person who lives below works nights apparently, so you do feel a little bit like you need to be extra quiet, rather than just behave normally.
Living room comfy. Top bedroom excellent if not a little cooler than any other room as only has one radiator and a lot of space to heat. All appliances new, newly decorated and extremely clean. LLoyd (The owner) very concscientious and making sure we were happy.

United KingdomSadly the apartment smelt of cigarette smoke throughout which was a real shame and meant we wouldn’t stay again with a young baby, and the mattress nearest the window in the bedroom had s divit in meaning you almost got stuck in the same spot in the night

Amaya Five is a walkable distance to the town centre. The property is very clean and very comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchen for cooking and laundry. The shower had plenty of hot water and had a good pressure. I would stay here again. Thank you Lloyd for checking in.
